Highlights
Ha Giang - Tam Son - Dong Van Global Karst Plateau (135km)
Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - 8:30am: Our team will pick you up from your hotel or homestay in Ha Giang city to begin the renowned Ha Giang loop.
- 9:00am: Depart the city, taking in the mountain views and tranquil villages.
- 10:00am: Enter the Dong Van Global Karst Plateau Geopark (Vietnam’s first Geopark) and stop at the top of Bac Sum Pass, the first pass leading into the Geopark.
- 11:00am: Arrive at Quan Ba Heaven Gate, the highest point of the day at 1500m above sea level. Enjoy a coffee break with a stunning panoramic view of the mountains.
- 12:00-1:30pm: Drive to Yen Minh Town, enjoying the mountain views along the way.
- 1:30pm: Lunch break in Yen Minh town.
- 2:30pm: After lunch, head to Sa Phin village to visit the Vuong ancient house (Hmong King palace).
- 5:00pm: Continue to Dong Van town.
- 6:00pm: Check in at your hotel or homestay in town and take a free walk around Dong Van ancient town.
- 7:30pm: Dinner time. Savor some local dishes and end the long day with some happy water.
Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Du Gia Village (90km)
Dong Van - 8:30am: Enjoy breakfast in town with mountain views (you can visit the largest local market in Dong Van if it’s Sunday).
- 9:00am: Get back on the bike and leave town, driving down to Nho Que River for a 1.5-hour boat trip through Tu San Canyon (the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia).
- 11:30am: Return to the road and head to Ma Pi Leng Pass (one of Vietnam’s four most beautiful passes).
- 1:00pm: Lunch break in Meo Vac town.
- 2:30pm: Continue to Du Gia village, stopping at Sa Li Pass to view the Dao villages and rice terraces from above.
- 5:30pm: Arrive at Du Gia village and check in at a Tay people’s homestay. Rest and enjoy the peaceful village.
- 7:30pm: Enjoy a family dinner and fall asleep to traditional music.
Du Gia Village - Ha Giang City (120km)
Nho Que River - 8:00am: Have breakfast with mountain views.
- 8:30am: Hit the road and visit Du Gia waterfall.
- 9:30am: Continue to Ha Giang city, passing beautiful Hmong villages along the way (with a few photo stops).
- 12:00pm: Visit Lung Tam village to learn about the ancient Hmong practice of hemp weaving.
- 1:30pm: Lunch break in Nam Dam village (a cultural village of the Dao people).
- 2:30pm: Drive the final 45km back to Ha Giang city.
- 5:00pm: Arrive at the city viewpoint for a panoramic view of the city (enjoy a final beer or coffee with our team after the tour).
- 5:30pm: End the tour at your hotel, homestay, or the bus station.

Our guide Van was great,... - Our guide Van was great, he took us to so many lovely spots and the homestays we stayed at were both so welcoming and fun, we had a great trip and felt super safe the whole time

Amazing experience!!! - We had brilliant time on this tour! It was well organised and our favourite thing we have done so far in South East Asia! Our guides Van and Quan were incredible and made the experience unforgettable. They are brilliant riders and made us feel safe and comfortable despite us never being on motorbikes before! Van spent lots of time answering all of our questions and teaching us about Vietnam culture and customs- he even showed me how to use chop sticks! We couldn’t recommend this tour enough! Thank you for helping us create memories which will last a lifetime!
