DETAILED ITINERARY:
08:20 – 09:00: Pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter/Opera House to depart for Halong Bay. Our route takes us along the Hanoi – Haiphong – Tuan Chau Highway, approximately a 2.5-hour drive.
11:45: Arrive at Tuan Chau port in Halong city. Board the boat and begin exploring the legendary bay. Lunch will be served as we cruise through the most picturesque areas of Halong Bay. This is a fantastic opportunity to admire the breathtaking scenery, including remarkable rock formations such as Fighting Cocks, Incense Burner, and various islets resembling a Duck, Dog, and Thumb.
- Halong Bay - 14:00 – 14:15: Visit the Surprising Cave, one of the most stunning caves in Ha Long Bay. The second chamber dramatically expands with curved domes adorned with smooth, streaked patterns, resembling a vast, grand theater. This is the largest and most beautiful cave in Halong Bay, located in the core area of the heritage site.
15:00 – 15:15: Enjoy kayaking or bamboo boat rowing in the Luon Cave area, offering further scenic views of the bay. Visit Titop Island for swimming or hike to the mountain’s summit for a panoramic view of Halong Bay.
18:00: Return to Tuan Chau Harbor. Board the bus back to Hanoi via the new highway on a high-quality bus.
20:50: Arrive in Hanoi, concluding the trip.
