Perfect! - We did a 2 night trip on the Orchid Classic Boat and it was beyond expectations. The boat was gorgeous and the staff were incredible. We loved the quiet mooring at night and all the daytimes activities. A big thank you to the cruise director Jerry and our server Merlin.

Stunning Halong Bay on a beautiful cruise - Beautiful boat with a lovely comfortable room including a private balcony. The food was delicious and the service was immaculate - thanks to Tim and Lily who looked after us. We loved the peace of Halong Bay - just stunning.

To the Bay - I have just been on a two day, one night cruise with Orchid Cruise Trendy on Ha Long Bay. I can not say enough about the wonderful experience I had with them . Even though the weather was not the best, I would not have missed it for the world . Wonderful pretty boat, great service, an abundance of food, and a great opportunity to discover one of the wonders of the natural world. The team that looked after us were amazing and so ready to help, and make you feel welcome. A special shout our to Fiora and her crew mates who did an exceptional job of keeping us fed and watered!!

Great cruise - We spent two days on the Orchard Classic 2. Our tour guide Jerry was so great and kept everyone happy. Everyone on the ship was so nice and friendly it was just a great experience. The cave experience was amazing even though I banged my head a few times. Wonderful massage and just a fun atmosphere!

Special Halong Bay. - We experienced the 1 night 2 Day cruise with Jerry and the team a couple of days ago. Everything was really great. Excellent friendly service from everyone and a very lovely atmosphere. Special mention to Kent and Mina for looking after us so well. We had cabin 202 which was very special. The itinerary is pretty busy but it is your choice if you want to do activities. Overall I would recommend.

Super mini cruise - Big 4 out of 5… lovey staff.. Tae was super helpful, great food, lovely views, lots of happy hours.. the transport out was a bit dated , but once on board it was all good.. activities are ok, prob hard to make much more on board..

Beautiful experience - Beautiful experience. Bedrooms are amazing, staff attentive and food was very good. Only downside was the cost of wine onboard (around £60 per bottle!), but apart from that, we had a really lovely time.

Slightly underwhelming - The food was mostly alright, some meals actually tasted bad. The soups were very tasty. The waiter (Alex) was very good as well. Alex was very helpful and you could see him put in the effort to make the dining a beater experience despite to food.

Unfortunately no good price-performance ratio - We booked the tour with three adults and an overnight stay on board. (Positive): + Beautiful boat and equipment + Friendly and helpful staff + Food on board + Landscape and canoe tour + Pool on deck with a view (Negative): - A very small room for three adults - No hot water in the shower - The entire tour was very stressful and tight. So we didn't get on the boat until midday. On the second day you could only have breakfast from 6:45 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and then go on a canoe tour straight after. Then lunch again at 9:45 a.m. so that we could leave the boat promptly at 10:30 a.m. - Organizing the booked return transport to Hanoi was more than chaotic. We waited 45 minutes and were the last to be picked up. Without our own initiative we wouldn't have gotten a shuttle. The return journey, which would normally take 1 1/2 hours, took over three hours including a stop at a souvenir shop.

Tranquility spoilt by poor sleep - If you are a light sleeper avoid these boats. The desks are made of wood. The furniture in the dinning room is made of heavy wood. The dining room is on the second level with most of the cabins underneath. All I consequently I was kept awake with furniture being move and heavy footsteps. I got up to investigate at midnight to find staff having some rest and recreation. They were not being noisy but did not understand the effect of their movement was having. I went back to my cabin and waited until after 1am for the banging and stomping of the ceiling of the cabin to finish. No mention of it by staff the next day so I am not looking forward to my second night. Definitely avoid cabins 107 - 112.
