An Awesome Kayaking Experience - My husband, adult daughter and I had a fantastic excursion to Cathedral Cove. I was a bit hesitant to book due to weather unpredictability in the off-season, so I spoke with the proprietor Mike. Since space was still available and it was for a weekday, he encouraged me to check back two days before our desired tour date, and we got it all set-up. The sea was calm, and we did so much in our 3-hour tour, including circling a large island, hanging out at Cathedral Cove and having hot drinks and cookies. Our guide Hayden was super knowledgeable about the history, fauna and flora of the area. We went into one cove to see the schools of snapper fish. He gave a great orientation to sea kayaks and safety and took pictures of our experience that we could later download. The sea kayaks come with a skirt to keep out the water from the waist below. Hayden helped with the launches and landings between the slight waves to keep us dry. I highly recommend kayaking yourself to Cathedral Cove with this tour company.

10/10, would smash that tour again - Splendid morning out on the water, saw plenty of wildlife and the stop at the beach was memorable as a little opportunity to explore and chat with the others about our experiences with a bangin' mocha. Mike was chill and easygoing as I expect and admire in a kayak guide! That lad is a fantastic example of kiwi hospitality, legend ✌️

Awesome experience!! - An amazing experience!! Our tour guide Hayden was amazing giving a in depth kōrero about the whakapapa of the surronding islands as we ventured around some of them. He made the experience fun and was really interactive with everyone keeping us safe and well looked after. A hot stop was cathedrol cove were we had a delicious cappachino and cookies on the beach giving abit of a sugar and caffine hit to prep for the ride back to Hahei beach 😊 Would highly recommend to any one looking for abit of adventure and fun

A magical tour - Thank you to our amazing, friendly and relaxed guide, Max. We had a magical day on the water and exploring cathedral Cove and the neighbouring island. We didn't feel rushed at all. Yes, it is true!! we were thrilled when Max served us hot delicious cappuccino and cookies on the beach at cathedral Cove

Great experience - Amazing experience. Mike was very nice and clear with the explanation about how ylto use the kayak and knows a lot about the land and the culture of New Zealand. I totally recommend it

One of my favorite NZ experiences so far - Such an incredible experience! Cathedral cove was beautiful and also got to visit an island. Super communicative and friendly staff, and the tea/coffee on the beach was a nice touch.

Wonderful way to see Cathedral Cove - We had a wonderful time kayaking in the sunshine. It was a fantastic way to be able to appreciate the coastline and the wonderful beaches. With the track to Cathedral Cove closed, it was a lovely way to see this famous beach without too many tourists around. Our guide was fantastic and made some great local recommendations (we thoroughly enjoyed a visit to a local distillery/vineyard the next day). I would definitely recommend this trip as a great way to see Cathedral Cove with a great company, lovely guides and wonderful scenery.

Wonderful tour with guide Max - We absolutely loved our kayak tour with guide, Max, who was fun, knowledgeable and encouraging. When we arrived at the cove Max made us delicious hot drinks on the beach while we explored and took photos. On the return trip we went out to some nearby islands and saw a sleepy seal. For newbie kayakers it was a wonderful experience! We highly recommend this tour.

Great kayak tour - Ana & Max made sure that we had a great time and informed us very well about the region we were kayaking through. They also make excellent hot chocolates!
