McLaren treat - Manee was especially well informed and interested in us. The selection of Wine makers covered a range of sizes and all wine makers were engaging and informative. The lunch was excellent. The Dali museum was a special treat, and the wine quality excellent. We enjoyed the day even when sunny and 35.C

great day out - What a great day out. Paul started our day with a trip to Mt Lofty, what spectacular views. Had brunch at Hahndorf with a little shopping, Victor Harbour for a ride on horse drawn tram and some more beautiful views. It was a day full of scenery, history, jokes and laughter. It was one of the most memorable days with Paul's knowledge and history.

Simply the best - Glenn with the double n!! You are the best tour guide...we had such a good day with you. So accommodating and knowledgeable (even with our ridiculous questions)!! We were all very sad the tour had to end! Thank you for making my birthday weekend unforgettable!!

Unexpected McLaren Vale private tour - Booked a McLaren Vale group tour for our first day in Adelaide so we were very surprised when a shiny black Toyota Landcruiser pulled up at the hotel and Paul introduced himself. We were it, so need need for a bus. We put ourselves in Paul's hands and we had a great day. Started with a drive through the city, including a blast off the starting line of the Adelaide 500 track from position 1! Paul suggested a visit to Hahndorf first where we had cake and coffee. You could see what it might once have been and it's still pretty, just very crowded. Then to McLaren Vale where at Paul's recommendation we visited Graham Stevens, The Confessional and Wirra Wirra. Paul introduced us to the staff at all of them and we tasted and bought much wine! I also wanted to visit D'Arenburg and although it's been taken over by the Instagram generation, the staff are great, as is the wine. We didn't want a fancy sit down lunch and instead had pies at a local bakery. We had an excellent day with Paul and would recommend Bums on Seats to anyone looking for a fun day touring McLaren Vale.

Local area trip and down to Victor Harbour. - It was essentially a chauffeur service to locations with very little commentary. Ok price wise with one person but in hindsight with two or more a hire car would have been better, cheaper and saw places at our own pace. Liked the “Cube”, but again could have driven there. For a whole day trip would have been great to be provided with a 50 cent bottle of water but was ok as we brought our own.

No tour to review - Terrible service. Tour was cancelled as I contacted company three days before to check everything was ok - I had booked and paid 2 months earlier. I was told even if only the two from our booking that this would still go ahead. Only received generic email reply so next night contacted again and got a reply that there was a problem getting a driver. I wrote back to say I was not happy with this and the response was that as there was a festival on in the Barossa that there was problems getting a driver - even though the fact the festival was on would have been known at the time of booking. No indication given at booking time that there could be any issues - as stated I was told even if only two people it would still run. I said I would need to know if the tour was definitely going ahead 24 hours before the start so I could arrange an alternative. Therefore the company cancelled. I wouldn't recommend at all as totally unreliable.
