Highlights
  • Welcome To Alaska Sign - This amazing photostop is at the summit of the White Pass and Klondike Highway
  • Skagway - Tour of downtown Skagway before or after going up to Canada and exploring British Columbia & the Yukon & Drop off in downtown after tour if you wish
  • Pitchfork Falls - Pitchfork Falls is a 2,000-foot cascade into the Skagway River, viewable from the Klondike Highway between Skagway, Alaska and the border with British Columbia. The falls goes underneath a railroad bridge of the White Pass and Yukon Railway
  • Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park Visitor Center - We stop by various buildings and scenic points of the Klondike Gold Rush, including the White Pass and points along the Klondike Highway as we go to Canada (British Columbia and The Yukon)
  • Welcome to Yukon Sign - While some in our group are participating in the dog sled mushing expedition, you’ll go to the Welcome to the Yukon sign just up the Klondike Highway. This is a fun photo stop with First Nations tribe members offering authentic goods for sale.
  • Emerald Lake - See this uniquely colored lake 10 minutes north of Carcross Villege
  • Carcross Desert - Somewhat hidden along the Klondike Highway is this unique inland desert - sand dunes as a result of receeding glaciers thousands of years ago have formed the world’s smallest inland desert!

Mike is an amazing guide! - Mike was our tour guide and driver that we were lucky to have. As a local, he was very knowledgeable about the area and sights we passed as we made our way into Yukon. He made numerous stops that catered to our group’s interests and helped us take pictures. He also had a great sense of humor, kept us entertained, and took great care of us. This was one of the highlights of our cruise trip thanks to Mike. We were even able to see the White Pass Railroad train along the way! Don’t take your cruise excursions - take Skagway Tours with Mike instead!

Family Fun Last Minute - Went on the Skagway tour last minute with the family. Our tour guy Andrew ‘Drew’ was awesome very funny and truly looked out for the best of the overall group. With Andrew we got to see a moose, black bear, porcupines and he even helped take photos of everyone on our bus. He had a ton of knowledge and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend a Skagway Tour.

Great tour to experience Skagway and the Yukon - We had a great tour with our driver Mike who was very knowledgeable and from the region. We made even more stops than announced - two of them were for bears we spotted directly alongside the road. But also without bears a definitely fun and recommendable trip!

Best tour guide in Alaska - We loved the tour. Mike was great. Stopped whenever he spotted wildlife. Saw bears close up. He was great taking pictures, and ensuring everyone on the bus exited safely. I’m so glad we didn’t miss Emerald lake and lunch was great at Carcross. I can’t say enough good things about this tour.

Beautiful fast paced bus tour - The sites were beautiful, the tour guide was fun. I would rather spend more time at the stops if possible. Also, I didn't see or hear anything about the waterfalls that were listed on the list of stops. Weather was perfect.
