Fantastic! Great stories, good fun, beautiful landscape, easy to work with staff. - If you go to Skagway and only see the town you are missing the best part. This land is stunning and this tour is a great and entertaining way to see it. Our driver was full of good jokes and information. Spent a little time letting us in on what it was like to live there but knew when to move on from a topic. We got to know our guide without feeling like you heard their life story. So far you expect this much. What sets our trip apart was our driver utilizing his experiences to make ours better. Having trained in photography, he made a point to explain what he was going after and taking great photos of everyone that wanted one. Even showed us a trick he learned from his professor. Right about now, if I was reading this review I'd be scared that this driver was over bearing or even one of those that just likes to talk about themselves or make themselves look amazing. This couldn't be further from the truth. He was humble, kind, assertive when needed but quiet and reserved at the right times as well. Between the fantastic efforts this driver went to to provide a valuable service and the natural beauty he was working with, I couldn't recommend this guide more. Most of this has been about our driver who I can't say enough good things about. Other aspects of the experience with this tour. Booking: Booking was confusing. The questions for where to get picked up were not clear to me. Particularly because we got into port very early and would have already walked into town and spent the morning in town before our tour time. This confusion did lead to a bit of a mix up. Pickup: I'm the worrier of our group and no one would argue with you on that fact. I was concerned all morning about this pick up knowing how confused I was at booking. There was nothing to worry about. We went to what I had selected as our pick up location, there was confusion in the back office that was easily resolved when I answered their call and let them know we were at the train display. This did mean we were the last to load onto the bus and due to some interesting guests on board who decided out of their group each of them deserved a window, my group of four shared 1 window seat over top of the wheel well which has literally no leg room and you sit with your knees in your chest (I'm an average 5'5" for reference and was eating my knees). Obviously this is just me complaining about people being rude so I'll move on. Being the last person on the bus is the ONLY complaint I have so YES this tour is worth the price. I LOVED getting to see so much of the land. Getting out to the Yukon, hearing the stories, and inhaling as much dreamy landscape as I could. I very much wish I could sit down at Skagway Brewing and have a bear with our driver to keep his stories rolling. Which, also, if you like craft beer, don't miss the brewery!

Best tour we’ve ever taken!! - This was the best. I was hesitant about doing a “bus tour” but this tour was incredible. You get to see things you would never be able to on your own. Our guide, Mike, was OUTSTANDING. Very knowledgeable and fun! Also, our ship did a last minute change in itinerary and you’all took care of it without a hitch! Our pre-tour convos with Claudia was fabulous. Always quick to respond to our questions. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect way to see the Yukon - The most worthwhile excursion we took on our cruise. Our guide, Mike, was fantastic. He chooses spots to stop depending on the conditions that day. Cheaper than the train and we went further and were able to get out and actually see the landscape often.

We love Mike! - This was an excellent tour! Mike was hilarious and took such great care of us! We were able to drive over the Canadian border and chase the train down the mountain. The scenic stops were gorgeous. He told us fun stories about his life that shed light on the stark differences of Alaskan life and those of us from the lower 48. Claudia was very communicative pre tour via text and made sure we were directed to the right pick up location which was conveniently located at the shuttle stop. Highly recommend this tour!

Good excursion to do in Skagway - We enjoyed this excursion. It helped that our guide Mike knew the area like the back of his hand.He was born and raised in Skagway. The tour took us to the Yukon lots of pretty scenery. We shopped in town a little bit. My only suggestion would be to provide a bathroom break during this tour.It was beautiful cold and not an area I enjoyed having to answer the call of nature on the bushes. I did not book this excursion thru the cruise line

Not worth the money - Noah was excellent tour guide and driver, but the tour itself was a 2 hour ride to nowhere and 2 hours back again. No snow, no winter wonderland
