A wonderful way to experience Cat Ba's National Park - Our half-day hike with Anh was great. The hike is steep and exposed at the peak, so bring good footwear and have sunscreen available. Anh was able to find and point out animals along the way, and he shared some local stories and legends as well. He is both a great tour guide and an enthusiastic conversationalist, and we really enjoyed spending time with him and learning about all that Cat Ba has to offer. The photos he took and video highlight reel he made for us were icing on the cake. If you’re thinking about booking with Anh, do it!

Best tour in Cat Ba - We booked a half day hiking tour and it was the BEST decision we made during our holiday. First of all this is a PRIVATE tour for only £15pp! It was my boyfriend and me plus our very knowledgeable tour guide Anh and the lovely driver Tuan. In Europe you would pay hundreds for the same experience. You are picked up on a motorbike (1 bike and driver per person) which was an exciting way to see the island and taken to mini natural history museum to see different preserved animals, sea creatures and plants. Then we hiked up Ngu Lam to a view point on the island and could see all of Cat Ba. I found the hike medium-hard difficulty because of the 32 degree heat but Anh would stop whenever we needed to and gave us lots of encouragement. He would also point out different plants and animals and told us different local and Vietnamese legends. You would miss out on this if you went without a guide. We then did 2 caves Trung Trang Cave and hospital cave. Again, neither cave had any information in English so having a guide there to point things out and explain the history was amazing. Anh also went above and beyond taking pictures and videos of us which means we have some great momentos of our holiday. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

wonderful trek - I got a private tour by Anh who was so lovely/nice and patient. He took me on a hike up a mountain at the Cat Ba National Park and showed me the best views. The trek up the mountain was tiring but Anh was very patient and took small breaks as he could see I was out of breath. On the way he would point out any wildlife and would explain any historical significance. He also very helpful and took picture of me while on the trek. He also took me to a cave exploration and the Hospital cave. He was very informative. Anh was perfect tour guide and made the whole experience brilliant! Thank you Anh!

Good guide - We booked the half day trekking tour with this company. Our guide was always very exited and able to communicate in English, which was an added value to our trip. The view point was the absolute high light of the tour. While the caves where a good switch up of the hike and fun to visit, they weren’t that interesting. I recommend this service to anyone looking to go to the national park in Cat Ba!

Half day tour - The view was breathtaking! Just like the trip up... it's a bit tough, but well worth the views. Once you have been to the top you will go to 2 caves where you can catch your breath from the hike. Ang was a fine, friendly man and knew a lot about Cat Ba. Recommended!
