take this boat tour - This was one my best experiences in Hamburg. I was impressed with all of the activities taking place in the harbor. I did not need to understand German to know what I was looking at.......

Good Experience - Nice quiet evening tour, can sit inside or outside - better views and possibilities for photos if outside (depending on weather), food and drink options inside

Nice tour of Speicherstadt and the port - Nice tour of Speicherstadt among warehouses a. Then out into the current harbor with huge container ships.
It was recommended to download their app and use headphones. I did. However, the guide spoke so loudly in German that it drowned out my earphones.
Otherwise a pleasant experience.
It's a little difficult to find there when you've pre-purchased tickets, so I recommend that you get there in good time.

Nice - No digital scan options, unfortunately the boat is not familiar with TripAdvisor, so check-in took a little longer

Worthwhile trip - Took the 1.5 hour harbour trip. Downloaded the app as recommended so we could understand the commentary. The app started off as we left the dock and then the commentary stopped. It did return for another five minutes later on. Slightly disappointed as we knew the commentary was going to be in German but thought the app would allow us to listen in English
Trip took us to Speicherstadt one way and then down to the container port and cruise terminal
Recommend if you are English and happy yo fo without commentary or understanding of sites

The boat tour is nice yet the app and lack of English guide is unacceptable… mediocre setup. - It’s just ok. When I read other reviews I thought maybe they did not follow the instructions. Let me give you a bit more details. I did download the app to listen the tour in English. The app does explain maybe 60% of the tour (the most important sites). When we enter the Speicherstadt area (canals), even before that area, there is no explanation in the app. Literally the last 30 to 45 min of the tour I don’t know what exactly I looked at or the importance of them. At that point I just took random photos or videos… Also if you order anything on the boat make sure to bring cash in euros. They don’t take dollars. When you want to pay with card, there is a 10 euros minimum charge… so over all it was disappointing, in a country like Germany.

Terrible app ruins tour - We dont speak German. We had to use the terrible app to listen to the commentary in english. The app kept cutting out so we missed most of the tour. It was nice cruising around Hamburg harbor but i felt ripped off.

Not the best! - Odd tour all the way around. Started with confusion with the staff on where it started. “Brucke 7. No Brucke 1. No it’s Brucke 7.” In the end we went to Brucke 1 - like it told us on the email and got on a boat. It ended up being the right boat for the 1:30 tour and we left at 1:02! Once we got on, everyone else on the boat had been offered beverages. No one offered us any.
As for the actual tour, it needed more time near the HafenCity for me. It spent about 10-15 minutes in that area and the rest of it was about shipping and industry. Odd. Strange. Ok.

Poor experience - The speaker on the boat was loud and totally in German. I could not hear the audio in English on my phone because the speaker on the boat was so loud. I could not hear the audio at all. Very disappointed. I do Viator tours often. This was my first disaster

Hamburg 2-hour honor tour on the beautiful Elbe - This was a total waste of time and money, I felt like I was stranded for those 2 hours.
I didn’t understand a thing because there was no English audio. Only German-speaking people can enjoyed.
