Group tour we will pick up the group at ANY HOTEL inside the Old Quarter. If your hotel is outside town, This will be out meeting point at 8h00 AM -
Hoa Lu temples of the Dinh & Le Dynasties - 10h00: Visit Dinh Temple and Le temple dedicating to 1000 years Vietnam history.
After the temple tour, we do cycling tour around the village to discover the life of local people.
Notes: Cycling is not a professional activity and we are not professional cyclists, we are tourists. Cycling is extra services, just for fun & free, included in the prices (Customers don’t pay for Cycling services). It’s a very small activity on the whole package, we don’t focus on cycling activity. Pls note that: - Customers can skip cycling if don’t know how to bike or the body has a bigger size. - Customers don’t bike can walk around to take photos or just relax at the restaurant to wait for others. - Bikes are not suite for children under 2 Years old. - Please check the bikes carefully before using, many tourists don’t know how to use it, so they damage the bicycles.
11h45: Have lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods goat meat, fried rice…. Vegetarian foods is always available at the lunch -
Trang An Grottoes - Sitting on the sampan by local rower to visit Trang An. We admire the wonderful Karst area which deserves to be a World Heritage of Vietnam. After the journey, we will take a bike tour of 1 hour to the next destination of Mua Cave.
The 2 activities are similar: Sitting on the sampan to admire the beauty of karst mountain and caves. Trang An sampan boat is 2h15m visits 6 caves and Tam Coc boat tour is 1h45m visits 3 caves. Trang An is a New heritage site of Vietnam - Tam Coc is famous for hundred years and the land scape is a bit better.
NOTE: We choose 1 out of the 2 cannot do both. -

Mua Caves - 16.00: Climbing up almost 500 steps of Mua cave area, you can reach to the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here
17h00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi.
NOTES:
- For the passengers who do not want this activity, it is simple that you can enjoy the scenery on our own and do not need to pay the tickets for Mua cave. There is also an option without Mua cave for passangers to choose .
- If you have elder persons in the large group, a small kid but also ones would like to see the place, you can still book this tour and will need to pay the entrance fee to the site and enjoy taking picture of the lower area of the place.
- Old Quarter - Around 19h00: Get drop off back to your hotel or we get you to the desired places inside the Old Quarter for group tours

Wonderful day to Ninh Binh - We chose to visit Trang An and it was the right option. The boat trip was fantastic. Tour guide was very friendly and took care of us very well. Remember to pay extra the entry fee to Mua cave. The view there is stunning.

Great and fruitful day tour - Johnny aka 阿海 is a very attentive and experience tour guide. Throughout the trip he gave a very details history of the places we had visited most importantly he is making sure the safety of us especially our old parents. Highly recommended

Amazing Ninh Binh day tour - Harry was our guide for Ninh Binh day tour in early June 2023. He prepared us on the hot weather condition and the amount of time we need to spend on the bamboo boat ride at Trang An as well as the climb up Mua Cave, that helps from the start :)
Harry's stories help us appreciate the history and beauty of Hoa Lu ancient capital. In Trang An, he recommended the route for the boat ride so that we could enjoy the temples and catch the 1km cave, that was an experience!
Like his stories about driving culture in Vietnam cities. As well as his childhood stories of drying rice grains during rainy times and how he used to catch small fish and snails in the lotus pond.
Our family have enjoyed the day trip, and it was an excellent experience having Harry as our guide.

Good tour, good guide, poor planning at the end - It all went well until during the long ride back we went out of the way to pick up some random woman (likely someone who booked a transfer) and then out of the way again to pick up the driver’s son. At the end of the day we all just want to be back in town and have dinner but because of these unscheduled stops, we got back 45 minutes later than we were supposed to. To top it off, the random woman was dropped off first before any of us were. Our guide, Harvey was great though.

Amazing view from the top of Mua Caves - Mua Caves is magnificent with breathtaking view from the top. Totally worth the 25 minutes climb. Tour guide could have tell us more about the places we will be visiting such as the history or interesting trivia. Buffet Lunch was quite disappointing. Dishes were cold and not much food was left to eat. Bus did not send us back to the hotel but left us some distance away from hotel and we had to walk back.
