The best transfer in Crete - Nikos and his service absolutely blew us away — he’s a wonderful driver who knows his way around (even at nighttime we felt safe). He even waited for us a little extra because of our plane delay without extra charge! The vehicle is in amazing condition as well. 100/10 experience, would recommend if you’re going to Crete

A unique driving experience - The driver was so friendly, ready to explain us everything regarding our visit in Crete. They gave us softdrinks during the riding and the most important think was that they waited for us for two hours, because of our flight delay, without extra charge. BAD EXPERIENCE - Dirty airport with bad staff, rude, knowledgeable, disorganized and absolutely unavailable. On an entire flight they measured 2 times within 5 minutes, my hand luggage (which turned out to fit perfectly in the test model) despite having clearly communicated to the second lady of the ground crew that her colleague next door had measured it a few minutes before .. and not only she also allowed herself to tell me to stay calm ... ah I almost forgot when I said that with the same luggage and traveling with the same airline I was boarded at Malpensa without any kind of problem the answer of the same lady, with a tone of pride and superiority was that there we were in Heraklion .... I tried to post the same review on Google but was blocked

Disgusting dirty airport - Heraklion airport is disgusting. We had a fantastic holiday on Crete ruined by our airport experience. Departure area B toilets are disgusting, both men’s and women’s have overflowing bins of used toilet paper in the cubicles, hand dryers don’t work, cleanliness of toilets is non existent. The whole departure area is full of flies, including the food area, there are not enough seats, so people forced to sit on filthy floors. There is no air conditioning so it’s unbearable hot. My husband had no bites the whole holiday but after going through the airport he had bites on arrival home. Be prepared is our advice and only use the toilets in an emergency.
