Stunning views!! - This trip was absolutely incredible. So well organised being picked up from your hotel, taken to Aigos Nikalous with our amazing tour guide giving us all the history during our scenic route! We chose the package with the BBQ lunch and it did not disappoint! Once we had arrived we hopped straight onto our book with took us to Spinalonga! The most incredible archeological island where we walked around for an hour. This was a perfect amount of time for the tiny island. We then got taken to a remote, uninhabited island for a yummy bbq and dip in the sea. Once that had finished we explored Aigos Nikolaus and got dropped straight back to our hotel. All in all an incredible trip that was worth every penny!

Very nice - Superb excursion! We were picked up in Heraklion, very close to our hotel. The cruise was really nice, the landscapes magnificent and the visit to Spinalonga interesting. The guide, the staff on board, all were friendly. We had a great time!

A great day out. - An excellent excursion out to Agios Nikolaus and Spinalonga Island, coach picked us up on time, and off we went, Nectarius (sp) gave us a great commentary along the way, we arrived at the harbour for the boat, and boarded quickly. Arrived at Spinalonga and had a wander around the old leper colony, again with a very informative commentary by Nectarius. Back on the boat for the second part of the trip - a bbq and time on a beach, this was a big disappointment, bbq was fine, but the beach...? It's hardly a beach, very very small, and not enough space for everyone especially when there are other boatloads of people there too, a bit of a waste of time. Back on the boat back with the bbq served whilst we headed back, and once docked, we headed for a bar and a nice ice cold Mythos, perfect. All in all, the beach aside, it was a great day out.

A grand day out - We were a couple of minutes late getting back to our boat for departure from the island and it left without us. Exceptional thanks to a wonderful guide Marissa, who sorted everything out for us and made sure we didn't miss out on any of the day's activities. 4 stars for the trip and 5+ stars to Marissa. Thank you so much.

very informative and fascinating - A very informative visit hearing about the lepers who were sent here . We had a very informative guide showing us around and telling us about their lives for about 30 minutes then a further 30 mins to look around ourselves/ take photos before having to get back on the boat. I felt the visit was rushed and would have liked longer on the island , another 20-30 minutes at least.

Spinglona/Agios Nikolaos - Boat trip out ti spinglona is lovley. Do take plenty suncream as it is very warm , and the breeze at sea makes this very east to forget ( my sunburnt forehead is a testament to this!) The lady who did our tour was very very knowledgeable about the islands history, although I appreciate this might have taken up to much time for those who just want to go explore on their own, for me I enjoyed listening to her talk. We unfortunately didn't really enjoy the food for the onboard BBQ but thus maybe just due to our personal tastes. Agios Nikolaos is your last stop with a chance to walk around. It is a lovley place, Bajamar up on the sea front where the boats drop off do amazing ice cream frappes! You can have lovley stroll upto the inland lake which is really pretty. A really nice way to spend a day out.

Interesting but some niggles - Enjoyable but could have been better. Very crowded. Long queues to get in. The little nch on the cruise was a tasty BBQ, but you had to eat it on your lap and negotiate the stairs of the boat 150 on board) while it was sailing . There needs to be a warning about lack of disabled access. Otherwise an I testing trip . Also the bus trip from our hotel to the port needed a rest stop but the loos were closed. For older travellers who have weaker bladders problematic

Enjoyable day. - The tour was good and the views were lovely. We enjoyed looking round the Island, but would have preferred to do this at our pace rather than being a little rushed. Out tour guide was very informative but could have condensed what she wanted to tell us about the island to let us have more time to explore. The swim stop and bbq were lovely and relaxing. Just enough time to have a walk round the town too.

Over priced, not worth a dime - Booked this trip but did not get this trip the tour operator sent us on a similar trip with a "lunch on a boat" this states eating during your voyage but this turned out to be eat in the port a chicken and coleslaw with an apple not worth the money and the service was extremely rushed as the staff that served also worked on the boat so no time for people on board. Rushed on and a quick photo for them to sell back to you, they parked off shore and wanted around 100-150 people to get off the boat for a swim and then try and get back on with just the back off the boat to enter if not a strong swimmer not recommended. Then off to the Fort where they expect you to queue up and pay again to enter the lepers Fort with not much to see but some ruins 1 guide trying to explain to so many people if your at the back not able to hear him anyway. My opinion over priced and not worth it. When highlighted we had booked a different tour and the tour operator advised us to seek some money back however when we asked for this we were accused of just wanting our money. This was really disappointing as we had booked 2 excursion through this company with 11 of us which we paid happily for then to be accused of just wanting money was a slap in the face! This excursion was for our daughters birthday and we specially asked for the bbq on the beach and swimming off the beach, the woman that booked this took no responsibility, really disappointing! Would never use these again. (Stalis branch)
