We’ll begin our journey at the historical Kera Kardiotissa Monastery, a nunnery nestled within a stunning landscape. Here, we will have the opportunity to appreciate the miraculous icon of Virgin Mary, a host of frescoes, and other 14th-century icons.
We will then move on to the renowned village of Psychro, famed for its artisan ceramics and an impressive workshop experience. Additionally, the tour includes a visit to the Dicteon Cave, housing marvelous stalactites and stalagmites, and famously recognized as the birthplace of Zeus, the father of ancient Greek Gods.
A quick detour will take us to Cronus’ Cave, a site of significant archaeological interest.
Our final destination is Tzermiado, the central village among the plateau settlements, boasting of breathtaking landscapes, traditional architecture, and serene views. Here, you will have the chance to capture memorable photographs, relax for a bit, and savor a meal at a local tavern.
