Holiday in Creta - Very well recommended, nice company! We could easily visit different places and also the bus is connected with the beaches!

Worth doing! - Fabulous ,loved the bus ride and esp Knossos Palace it was wonderful thankyou. Heraklion was a lovely city and this was a great way to see some of it!

Tour around Crete - A great and affordable way to tour around Crete. Some routes/pickups caused some confusion and wasted some time but other than that it is a great way to tour around the area.

Average experience due to lacking air conditioning - The overall experience was average due to the immense heat and lack of air conditioning. The tour guidance on the headphones provided and the route covered made the experience passable.

Ok bus ride, awful boarding experience - First I reserved tickets online to save on time as we are getting off a cruise ship with hundreds if not thousands of people. Online gives me a voucher that I need to exchange for a ticket. Ok. But where?? Break into the line at the kiosks at the port and nobody in any of the four different company kiosk can help me. I get in line where the buses are, nobody is sure what to do with us, but the next buses are all full anyways. We frustratingly walk away to the next bus stops down the road. Finally find someone that knows our voucher and tells us what bus to get on. Get in the bus, the driver barely looks at my phone voucher, just lets us get on. Ok, finally on the bus! But wait, there is so much traffic that we barely move! Very very slow tour, very basic history from the pre recorded system. Lots of time waiting to get to the next location. Not really worth it in my opinion.

Never again! - Long waits, a bus didn't come at all, route change... You are stuck in traffic for longer and wait when changing trains than you drive!

This company “Crete City Tour Heraklion” (with the sunshine logo) are scammers - The company “Crete City Tour Heraklion” (with the sunshine logo) are scammers. Upon arrival at the port we saw 5 ticket booths all selling hop on / hop off bus tours of the city. We paid €20 each with “Crete City Tour Heraklion” and gained a receipt. One bus had just left and we were advised it was a 15 min wait until the next bus. We waited and 15 mins later the guy selling tickets was still advising people it would be a 15 mins wait. 40 mins after buying the ticket the bus turned up and there was only room for half the people who’d bought a ticket. We couldn’t get on the bus, so decided to walk to the first few stops and pick up a bus after lunch, near stop 4. Several of the other companies buses arrived and departed at stop 4, then “Crete City Tour Heraklion” arrived (40 mins after the scheduled time displayed on their sign). The driver refused to let us on the bus as the guy who’d sold us the ticket had only given us a credit card receipt rather than a ticket. We calmly stated that is all we were given and he said we should wait for another companies bus as the name stated on the credit card receipt didn’t say “Crete City Tour Heraklion” (we later found out the name on the receipt was the parent company of Crete City Tour Heraklion). I tried calling the company on all 4 numbers listed on their map and signs at the bus stops and the numbers were either disconnected or there was no answer. Long story short we talked our way onto another companies bus as the driver understood our plight and took pity on us. We only got off once as we didn’t want the stress of having an argument every time we needed to get back on. On speaking to a driver from another company he mentioned that Crete City Tour Heraklion only have 2 buses whereas the other companies has around 5-6 buses each so can run a regular service.

Bad experience - Bad experience on the hop on hop off bus. Driver stopped for an excessive time getting off and smoking a cigarette at most of the stops. Not fun if you are sitting upstairs and there is no movement in 30 degree Celsius heat!

Like steeping into the bowels of hell - Quite possibly the most hideous experience of my life Absolutely no system for boarding the buses it was a total free-for-all pushing shoving hitting; complete and utter carnage It was a stampede The people in charge did nothing I would advise never to use this company EVER AGAIN someone could easily have got badly hurt
