You will be familiarized with wines produced in the area and get to know their creators. Exceptional labels will be featured during the tasting. As every wine possesses its own tale, you’ll have the chance to discover the narrative behind each label.
- Peza - Let your senses guide you through a winery counting nearly 50 years of wine-making tradition. Wander around a vineyard and enjoy breathtaking views relaxing under the shade of the pergola at the vineyard house. This seasonal 4-hour guided wine tour includes a Winery Tour, and wine tasting of 10 different wine labels, all from indigenous varieties.
You will visit the sommelier’s cottage in the Kaloni Village and Titakis Winery in Kounavoi Village. At both wineries, a host will welcome you and inform you about the winery and its services. A tour of the winery will follow, including a vineyard presentation and a cellar tour. At tour completion, you will taste some of the most famous wines on the island and all over Greece. Each winery has 5 wine tasting programs. All wines are from indigenous local varieties. Each winery has input its character into its wines, something you will have to discover and recognize during the tasting process.
