Tara river is 146 km long,and most of the river (including its canyon) is under UNESCO protection.The river is ideal for rafting, whitewater rafting and fishing. The deepest canyon in Europe,in some places over 1300 m above the sea level,is characterized by unique beauty,with diverse wildlife.

Wonderful guide, beautiful scenery, thrilling rafting! - I can't recommend this trip enough! Our driver and guide Miloš was incredible - a very lovely and funny man with a great deal of knowledge about the country and even bordering nations. The drive there and back was beautiful, with thoughtfully-planned stops for photos and breaks. The rafting itself was amazing! Not too technical in July but still thrilling enough. We had the chance to stop for swimming and (small) cliff jumping, as well as a stop along the way for a beer. We were a little worried about the availability of vegan food but Miloš communicated our requirements very well and we were certainly well-fed! Thank you Miloš for an unforgettable trip. You will be lucky if you get Miloš as your guide!

A perfect break from the heatwave - This trip exceeded all expectations right from the pick up I'm the morning. The vehicle was comfortable, clean with AC. The driver was an exceptional host, and very knowledgeable about his country and its history. The drive across the land to the base camp was beautiful. "Breakfast" was a delicious plate of Meats and cheeses, eggs, fresh bread and home-made cherry jam. "Lunch", at the end of the day was a traditional hot meal with pit roast, potatoes, veg and salad. All served fresh and hot. As for the day on the river...unforgettable. The raft guide knew the river well and directed us to navigate the small rapids. We were even able jump out and float alongside at times. The whole day was filled with fun and laughter with newly made friends. Thank you so much 360 Monte.

Great day trip - Great day trip to river Tara. The river was quite calm so it wasn't as thrilling but absolutely beautiful scenery throughout the journey. It's a long drive but our tour guide Igor made it fun and more enjoyable. Breakfast and lunch that are included were also great. I would highly recommend it

great teams - Excellent care by the whole team, very interesting and kind Guide, adorable and top skipper, excellent meal. To recommend without hesitation Ps: remember to cross your arms on your chest during the jump.

Extraordinary in every aspect! - I went on a full day Tara rafting excursion and found everything to be beyond my expectations. Our guide Nadja, driver Vule and skipper Nikola were fantastic, we all felt super safe and engaged all the time. The rafting itself was one of the best life experiences, and the meals included in the authentic tavern from the starting point was an unexpected bonus. The best meal in Montenegro I had was their veal dish. The whole organization was excellent, without any issues - a fabulous day, cannot recommend enough. Thanks Monte360 and your great staff for such a fab day!!!

Fantastic day trip - Fantastic tour with Stavislav our tour guide. So knowledgable about the area. We had plenty of stops so the long drive 3 hours felt easy as the scenery is stunning. The food at the rafting was fantastic. If you are after an Adrenaline rush you may not get it in July as the river was flowing slowly so the rafting was not challenging but the water is beautiful. Our rafting guide Stephan was great a local guide who knew the water well. I would not hesitate to book again

Best trip I’ve ever done on holiday. - Tour guide was IGOR, great knowledge and kept us entertained for whole trip. 3 hour transfer for rafting but only felt like 1 hour !!👍

Highly recommend Tara river rafting - This trip made my holiday in Montenegro. Great guide and driver Milos for the 3 hour trip from Kotor up to Tara canyon, with a few stops along the stunningly majestic landscape along the way. Group of 6 of us in all. The rafting company were very professional, kitted us out with good quality full kit, and gave us the most memorable and wonderful trip down this pristine and jaw-droppingly beautiful river canyon. Very good restaurant at the camp provided full and delicious breakfast and lunch. Still on a high 2 days later, and would do it again like a shot. The river was fun, not gnarly, in June. Beautiful and professionally done.

Wild ride on the crystal clear Tara - We took the bus from Kotor towards Tara. On site there was a very good regional breakfast. With small buses we were then taken to the water and boarded in a group of 6 plus guide. The journey took about three hours and in between there was the opportunity to dive into the cold (10 degrees) and crystal clear water. The river didn’t have quite as much water in midsummer, so we had to watch out for big rocks and it didn’t go down so fast. Nevertheless, it was a great experience that ended with a very delicious meal. Only the long journey time of over 7 hours was a bit exhausting, but well-developed roads and a safe bus driver made for a relaxed tour.
