Mandatory awesomeness - A definite highlight of our time in Iceland. Our guide, Mike, was an amazing host, instructor, and educator and had one of the warmest personalities we’ve ever encountered. The equipment is top notch as are their campsite and trails. This all left us free to enjoy this amazing experience on a glacier. If you have the chance, GO. (And ask for Mike)

Fantastic. - Fantastic experience. Arrived at the base camp they give you tutona to slip over your clothes and helmet with visor also included x the sun. Then in 40 minutes with a big car you climb to the glacier (absurd strafe that are quite scary!). Then you go with the snowmobile for an hour with 3 stops... fantastic! Then it's back. Bathroom available only at base camp! To do absolutely

Very nice expierance. - Good things happen without planning. We stayed overnight at Hotel Smyrlabjörg, and I was curious about a nearby place I saw. Despite only a few reviews in google (55), I decided to inquire about the snowmobile tour in the morning. There were four of us, and two of the ladies had no previous experience driving anything similar, so we decided to give it a try, hoping for good weather. The weather was indeed very good—almost clear skies and not too cold. The excursion lasts for three hours: one hour to reach the glacier, one hour on the snowmobile, and one hour for the return trip. They provided very warm coveralls, which did an excellent job of protecting us from the wind. They also provide gloves (though I would recommend bringing your own leather ones if you have them), and of course, a helmet. Our guide was very talkative and shared many interesting stories about the glacier, his farm, and more. The journey to and from the glacier felt surprisingly short. We drove the snowmobiles at a maximum speed of 30 km/h, averaging around 25 km/h, which was perfect for enjoying the stunning views.

What an amazing experience - Both on the Glacier and Driving up to the Glacier! - From the initial communication to the introductions and training this tour is first rate! The snowmobiling tour was amazing but i have to say that driving up to the Snow mobiles on the glacier was an experience we will never forget. It was truly surreal! The staff is so informative and thoughtful to make sure everyone on the snowmobiles get a chance to drive if you choose to. If you are a couple, you drive on a two seater and can switch midway. The tour was so reasonably priced considering the work involved to get you up to the glacier and touring on these snowmobiles! Great experience that i can confidently recommend! Thanks for all the memories!

Superglacier we arrive - Amazing experience on the glacier. The visitable area is circumscribed, the snowmobile is Guided on a not difficult track, the journey takes an hour with two stops. The glacier apparently can be visited even off the traced routes, in reality it is very dangerous and not accessible. So this is a great way to explore it safely

Nice snowmobile ride on the glacier - Beautiful snowmobile tour on the glacier. It starts with superjeeps and in about 40/45 minutes you arrive on the glacier. The guides then explain how snowmobiles work (for those who have never ridden one) and off we go! There are a few stops, where guides give a bit of information about the glacier and where you can enjoy the view! We were lucky, we found a dry day, after two days of incessant rain. It costs a bit, but it’s definitely worth it! A special thanks goes to Tinna Rut and her husband who also gave us help following a problem with the car!

Nice experience, check the weather! - Great experience, great guides, shame about the weather but we are in Iceland! 35 minutes to reach the starting point on the glacier and then an hour by snowmobile .. in our case shortened for the really difficult weather, surely with the sun the ride would have lasted longer. Unfortunately with the clouds is the rain visibility drops so much, it would be to check the weather before

Possibly a great tour - I think this would be a great experience if the weather was forgiving. We couldn't see anything on the day and I think it would have been best to be honest with cstomers and given the option to still go ahead with the tour.
