Wonderful fun day at the Hoi An Village Experience. - What a wonderfully fun day. Our lovely and very entertaining guide, Han lead us to the local market to buy produce for the cooking class, then onto a fishing village where we had a great fun and an enjoying ride in the basket boats. Finally onto the cooking class where Han showed and led us to making some wonderful dishes which we all enjoyed eating. Thank you Han for a terrific day. 100% recommend. 😀

Surprisingly Awesome Day! - To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about a cooking class being that I wouldn't think I'd enjoy it as much as other things even though I love to cook. I was completely wrong! We started off doing the shopping at the markets for our groceries, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining local poultry, seafood and produce. We then headed off to the basket boats, although we opted for the fast spin (which I don't handle well) it was fun and then we went for a nice stroll down the river to our destination of the cooking class (Which is held at the operators home, but is a beautiful set up next to the water) our teacher was fantastic at explaining the cooking processes and getting everyone involved, not to mention the food was amazing. She also took photos and videos through out the cooking class and shared them with us at the end as well as the recipes of the meals we prepared. Unfortunately, the Cao Lau wasn't included in the recipe but I sent them a Whatsapp and they replied almost instantly with the recipe which I'll be making tonight! I Strongly recommend them for a thoroughly enjoyable day!

So much fun and delicious food! - This tour was a lot of fun! The basket boat portion started wildly as our boatman spun the boat and danced. Things calmed down as we cruised through the coconut forest and attempted to catch crabs. Then we had the cooking class using the ingredients that we picked up earlier from the market. The food was so good and I was full by the end but kept wanting to eat since it was all so delicious. I will definitely be making the green papaya salad at home (they provide you with the recipes at the end).

Highly recommend.. One of our high lights of our Vietnamese holiday. - This is the whole Vietnamese package, we loved our morning spent with our guide Hung and lunch with the family … we rode a push bike to the country from the old part of town, we planted rice and rode a buffalo, then rode to the river where we got in a coconut boat and went up the river and fished for crabs, we then went to the families home where we made rice meal from an ancient Grinder and made our own Vietnamese pancakes for lunch, lunch was a beautiful spread of traditional Vietnamese food and the family were very welcoming. Our guide Hung made our experience exceptional he was a wealth of knowledge and had us laughing all morning with his sense of humour, he took lots of photos and videos of our experience and was happy to send them to us .. I honestly cannot recommend this experience enough as all the money goes back into the community and also helps to employ people with a disability… it truly has left long lasting memories of a lovely day spent with a lovely family 😍

Amazing cooking experience Hoi An - Absolutely loved this tour with Oanh, what a super day of experience and cooking together. Firstly we went to the local market, where she explained the different types of fruit and vegetables and even got us to try some unique ones. Moving on to the coconut village and crab fishing out of basket boats, this was hilarious but I won't ruin the suprise!! The cooking class itself was by far the highlight, we cooked 4 dishes including the Hoi An famous Cao lầu, which was super tasty!

A real highlight of my trip. Cannot recommend enough. - This was a highlight of my trip to Vietnam! I cannot recommend this tour enough. The hospitality of Mr Cu and his team was second to none. I was picked up promptly in the morning and met with the fellow tour goers at a local market. we had a very fun and informative morning shopping for ingredients and trying out local fruits. We then headed to the coconut boats and the real Hoi An style experience. But the real highlight came in the form of the cooking class afterwards. this was so much fun and informative about how Vietnamese food is cooked. We made many yummy dishes and got to eat them all in a big family style lunch. Make sure you come hungry because you will cook so many delicious meals.

Excellent local experience - I have been many times to Hoi An and probably done about 10 different cycling tours. I absolutely love Mr Cu and his tour. For lunch we visited his wife who has a cooking class business and we also got to cook and food was amazing. The one thing that stood out is that he employs local people with disabilities which to me is worth so much more than the average tour and means we help give back.
