  • Cảng Du Lịch Cừa Đại - Hội An - After driver and guide pick up all passengers, group will be then transfered to Cua Dai harbor for Speedboat registering with the Management officers before heading to the Cham islands.
  • Cham Island (Cu Lao Cham) - On arrival of the island after 25 minutes by speedboat, your guide will take you to the Cu Lao Cham museum, and showroom where the history, map, objects are displayed etc…and visiting Au Thuyen where the local boats are hidden in big storms. Walking along the rice field, group will arrive the over-200-year-old temple of Hai Tang for a short visit. Besides, you also visit Cham’s old-well and seafood market - place of exchanges and trading all kinds of fresh seafood that fishermen caught after the previous night.

For the next program, the boat takes you to a safe place (called Dai islet) for snorkeling for almost one hour. This is the most interesting part of the tour. Here you have plenty of free time for swimming, and see the range of nice corals under the sea.

Nice snorkeling, best lunch! - Nice snorkeling (but too many people at the spot) and beautiful beach where we had some time to swim and relax. But the best from the tour was the lunch, so many different delicious dishes in a beautiful small restaurants near the beach.

Expensive and too short - The tour is good for the most part except it is too short to be considered "a day" trip AND the cost should be cheaper as this is in Vietnam. We did the SeaTrek for additional fee which again can be cheaper. The water is not as clear though you can feed the fishes and see the corals. The included lunch is just ok. The price Tripadvisor is charging, the package is not worth doing.

You don't have to go for snorkeling. - Organized chaos. You don't understand how they had it under control. We really went for the snorkeling and that was not very special. Unfortunately there was a small tour of the island first and the snorkeling was only 45 minutes in total. Lunch was really well done and was fine. The island and the beach where you stay for an hour are beautiful.

Bring your own snorkeling qequipment or ask if they changed them! - Negative : They took us for 15mins to walk around a marble shop as I believe they have some sort of agreement but it was weird and a waste of time. The boat was old woth no outdoor area to enjoy the trip. The worst part is when we went snorkeling the equipment was old and most of the masks were detached from the barrel ( the tube to breath) which made it very difficult to snorkel. They need to change them. Positive : The lady who led us around was friendly and ready to help. The beach in Cham Island is beautiful and the lunch was actually one of the best I had among various snorkeling tours.

Don’t do it! - Don’t be fooled by the photos, waste of time and money! Too much hanging around being funnelled from one place to another, coral dead and barely anything to see! Vietnamese tourism should get a grip of what’s happening here!

Spent more time being upsold than on trip. Better to travel without tour if possible. - Went to Cham island with Dacotours, tour guide called Duyen who nicknamed herself “Banana”. Got off to a bad start as we stopped at “Non nuoc stone carving village” which was a store full of tourist tat. As no one wanted to buy anything we stood outside for 20 minutes until the guide reappeared (“I am giving you 20 minutes free time to shop”). Then onwards to the dock where we got off the bus literally into another shop, with people standing each side to make it hard to push our way outside. Inflated prices and tour guide very happy to translate for anyone who wanted to buy. (“I am giving you 10 minutes to buy things”). Then we stopped at a place to buy refreshments (“I am giving you 5 minutes to buy drinks”) and only after questioning did the guide admit that they would supply bottled water for us. Finally, the guide told us to sit and wait (hassled by vendors) while she went to buy tickets to the island. The first island stop was pointless, viewing a few preserved specimens of the local sea life and being splashed with water from a lucky well. The next was a brief stop on a beach to hard sell a “scuba dive” experience where a personal instructor will dive with you and control your every move(“I am giving you 10 minutes to think about it”). There was no facility for qualified divers. Then off to the dive boat where the guide and those who paid got off to go diving. The rest of us stayed on the ferry and went back to the beach to collect the 2 people who had been left behind (!). Finally we reached an off-beach snorkeling site which was fairly nice, and snorkeled for a while before returning to the beach for inclusive lunch (again with multiple options to pay more). Told that we had an hour on the beach we hired deck chairs and enjoyed ourselves, then showered and changed, only to be told “I am giving you another half hour free time to relax.” We declined to buy drinks and waited to return. Overall, this was a highly touristy experience in a very lovely place which we barely got to enjoy. Probably better to visit without tour.

A bit disappointing - The water was not as clear as expected, and there were only a few fish in the snorkeling. The food was not so good, and the beach was beautiful, but I wouldn't come back unless there was something more to see.

No fishy in the sea - There were no fish to see at all. Rest of the trip was decent but the snorkelling was definitely not worth the price. The monkeys were cool though.

Stay Away From Viator! - Never got to go. My tour was cancelled without notice and I was left standing at the curb for 45 minutes waiting to be picked up, if I hadn’t called, my guess is I’d still be waiting. Very unprofessional, and disorganized, i would never use or recommend aviator again!
