Old Town Of Hoi An - Hoi An is an unique concentration of architectural monuments of living houses, assembly halls, communal houses, museums, pagoda shrine, temple, water well, market and more. The most significant upon entry into the old town is the Japanese covered Bridge which was built in the 17th century. These wonderful sightseeing places were lined up along the streets, forming palaces and giving a good example of symbolic oriental cities in the middle age. Visitors could also enjoy other street artistic activities, folk games and the buzzling night market.

Wonderful introduction to food in Hoi An - My partner and I really enjoyed this tour. We got to try quite a few different local foods, our guide was very knowledgeable about the food and business owners. Perfect amount of food at each stop so you could enjoy each one without being over full. Her English was excellent and provided excellent service. Highly recommend this walking tour of Hoi An.

Must-visit attractions in Da Nang - The ancient city of Hoi An is two different worlds during the day and at night!!!!, you must wait for night to come, and you will find that the world has such a beautiful place. It is recommended that you must visit the ancient city when you come to Da Nang...!! It’s best to go to the ancient city in the afternoon near dusk. There are delicious food, beautiful lanterns, and massage parlors. You can also take a boat ride at night to release water lanterns... It’s really a whole day of fun!

Still charming but too crowded - Hoi an ancient town is my favorite attractions in Vietnam. It's quite charming town. Unfortunately its becoming so popular that its in everyone's bucket list. The town is flooded with Asian people . Also the Japanese bridge is no longer the same , it's undergoing renovation i guess. You can't see the old Japanese Bridge anymore as they construct a building on it. But don't let it be the reason not to. Come as the town is still. Beautiful, its just that before we could not get enough walking around But now we felt like once is enough.

Guided around Hoi an - We only had 4 days in Hoi an and we had a lot we wanted to see and do, the best advise we were given is to get a  local guide as it will take the guess work out of it. Hai was our guide for 2 days and he was amazing, not only did he take us around the normal tourist hotspots he had a few extra places that gave you a feel for the real Vietnam and its culture. We got around Markets, Jeep rides, explored the country side, Basket Boat ride and a real favourite was visiting the local market gardens and spending time with the staff and seeing how passionate they were about the gardens and the produce they grew. Thank you Hai, you made our time in Hoi an very memorable and we will be back as there is still so much to do.

What an experience. - The town is very well decorated. Its charming look makes us want to comeback for more since I am a photographer so it works for me. The locals are so friendly and they are the friendliest people I’ve meet. So gentle and caring. They’re qualified to represent this beautiful country.

The best introduction to Hoi An and local life and food - My local guide picked me up at hotel, Jackie/Zim spoke great English and was so personable, if you book this tour I would request Zim for your guide, she went above and beyond to make this an amazing experience, I recommend 100%

Great food options! - Our tour guide was very nice and spoke excellent English. She chose tasty spots to try and made sure we had more than enough to eat. However, we didn’t actually walk the ancient city because tickets were not bought. The tour price could have been lower if we had known that we were not able to buy tickets during the tour.

Ancient No More - The Ancient City is now flooded with shops and restaurants. It is hard to view the old buildings which make this area unique. Shop wares like clothes, hats, knick knacs cover up the walls and doors of buildings. At night thousands descend at this place making it an unpleasant place to walk around. Hundreds, if not thousands, of tricycles carrying tourists pack the narrow streets competing with tourists bicycling around as well. Tootooting you from behind to make way for them. The noise level can be very irritating. Tons of tourists posing at each corner for photo ops as well. Street vendors are calling out everywhere begging you to buy whatever they are selling. Lights are bright at night and beautiful to look at. The river is packed with little boats with lanterns carrying tourists. It is much better to enjoy these lights from afar. Walk on the other side of the river and just enjoy the night without the hustle and bussel of street food vendors, tricycles, bicyclists, and pedestrians. One night in the Ancient Town is enough. It no longer is the glorious Ancient Town that it was before it became a major tourist destination.
