Best tour in Vietnam. - This was our favourite tour during our visit to Vietnam, and we did 12! Being able to ride a scooter like a local through the countryside is a must-do. Emily was very professional and did everything possible to make sure we had a fun, safe, and memorable experience. She is very knowledgeable and we learnt so much about Hoi An history and culture.

Fantastic experience - Emily and Tram were fantastic guides. The tour has excellent stops and the e-scooters were easy to drive after good instruction from our guides, only issue was that there were some defaults on the scooters. One had no right side mirror and the control screen/dashboard didn’t function and another’s headlight didn’t work. Emily and tram worked around these issues and our family (7) had a fantastic time.

Great day exploring like a local. - The trip was great! It was a cool experience navigating the streets of Hoi An like the locals - on a scooter! I have a motorcycle, so decided to ride my own scooter. My wife was less comfortable driving on her own, so one of the young gals drove for her. Although the roads looks chaotic, there is a team effort by all drivers to avoid accidents. It's something to be a part of that. The guide and her assistants were wonderful.

A walk to discover the Hoi An countryside - A very pleasant walk led by our guide Emily who was attentive to all our questions. We met several local families there, who were delighted to share their experiences with us. A particularly touching meeting with the members of the CHIA association. Excellent tour - overpriced - It's a great tour just a little overpriced. The tour guides are excellent and you get to ride round in the coolish breeze on the back of a cute bike taking back roads and being amoungst the rice paddy's etc. They do take you to see local historic house and mat weaving and great coffee shop and you even get to make traditional rice paper. The price on trip advisor varies and so does the price around your agents from day to day. I paid $89 US which is quiet a lot in comparison to other tours available. The tour guides also tell you they need to be tipped and then obviously try to sell themselves for private tour guiding as well. That's to be expected.

Terrible tour - This was the worst tour I've ever done. Way too expensive for what you get. We had made a booking at 10 pm, the day before. The payment was made and after asking a question via the messages we got no answer. Next morning, we got ready anyway and called the agency several times. They indicated that we should not have booked so late. In the end we wanted to cancel and then they started to speed things up. Instead of 08.30 they came at 09.18. One person came in a taxi and we were taken to the scooters. We received a very brief explanation and had to drive quite a bit through the city. That was quite scary at times without the right guidance but fine. We drove along the country side but I didn't think it was special. They were like vegetable gardens and we stopped at several things where we were actually forced to buy something. It was also pretended that it was very cheap but 5 dollars for a pair of slippers I think is not little. Or 5 dollars for lantern either. We were given a sandwich in our hands and had to eat it at a tailory. There we were also pushed to buy something and that was not pleasant. I felt hesitant to say no. At the beach we had to drink our drink very quickly because they were done with it. They gave to finish? And then we thought late but we'll go. We were also forced to tip. I want my money back and thought it was way too expensive for what you got. Later we also received a message if we wanted to take out insurance, but by then the tour was already over.

The worst tour I have been on. - This was the worse tour I have been on unfortunately. In my life...and I have done many tours and never had to write a bad review. I usually dont write reviews and when I do I really must have loved it. The reason I am writing is not because they were an hour late to pick us up and our hotel had to call them or because they did not even check our booking. But because it is just not as described in the reviews I read and in the describtion. It is not like they suggest in the pictures of the tour AT ALL. Dont get yourself fooled. So this tour needed a recent review to help others with making their decision. The choice is yours. The tour was done by two guys, from which one did the speaking and guiding. We went to couple of places. First one not so far from where picked up the scooter beside the water to see some tourist boats docked. Next a bit further where some rice papers where drying beside the road. We stopped looked at it drying and 5 minutes later moved on. Then a at someones place they were making slippers for the market. 3usd wholesale they said and then 10 usd on the the market, the whole situation felt just to make us buy something. Looked for 5 minutes and moved on. Next stop you go to some place, where you can choose to look for 5 minutes how she cuts the textile on the lantern..or you can do it yourself, if you pay 5 usd for it... Next stop at some boat repair place, outside where you pass by and see some random guys working on a boat.. And then we went to a tailor where the idea is that they try to show what they can make...and of course you can choose to have something made..but you can do this everywhere in hoi an so dont bother and dont let them push you in to something. Because they start making an invoice at the same time when you put your ass on the couch. After we got a banh mi we went to the beach got a beer and then shortly we already were being pushed to leave the beach and go back. We arrived 12.15 back at the hotel. So it took less than three hours and basically we had to say no on everything because we did not want to buy anything. And the guide wanted us to tip the other driver at the end. I just dont know what for exactly. We know for fact that renting a bike on your own is not expensive, so what we were expecting is some extra information and real country side experience etc. Even then we thought it was overpriced, but because of the reviews we were giving it the benefit of the doubt. But this is so not worth your money. You just stay within 1km radius from the center. No Countryside...In comparison We paid 40 usd and 50 usd for the halong Bay tour and ninh binh tours which takes you the whole day with great stories and experiences. 8-10 hours tours. My advice, rent a bike for 10 usd or bicycle from your hotel for free and just go by yourself looking at stuff. Or just spend 50 usd on taxis (or less) and you are still better of then this tour. Because 130 usd for two persons for three hours, is an expensive lesson we have learned. Everything they showed you can do it by yourself without the negative vibes if you dont buy something. Afterwards we took a cab back to the beach around 70.000 dong to relax and just chill which we should have just done in the first place. Hope this will help some people out. Good luck to y'all.
