Humorous and knowledgeable - John was a great guide as I made my way around Vietnam solo. He made me feel comfortable and to realize schedule a guided tour is actually not restricting(fast paced and top short) as I thought it would be. He showed us different places to go. He was great at providing background information about the locations and things that were valuable to experience and invest in while in Hoi An. We went to restaurants, rode boats, set afloat lanterns, and was entertained by his natural humor. Was very happy with my experience.

10 star bike and boat tour - By far our favourite tour we did on our entire holiday in Vietnam John was so informative of the region and there wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer. We had so much fun, so many laughs and we didn’t want our time to end. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Hoi An to book a tour with John, like us you won’t regret it He took so many great photos of our family and he loves to take a selfie. If we could rate his tour 10 stars we would. We will be back to see him in the future

It is quite recommended! - It is also recommended for Japanese people. Although it is only an English guide, John's personality and explanations are easy to understand and knowledgeable, and John's family, who came with us as help drivers, were also very nice people! This time, we participated as a group of five people, including an elderly couple in their 60s and a 6-year-old, three generations of parents and children, and we rode on the back of the motorbike (with the child in the front), four motorbikes, and we drove safely throughout the trip, so we had a lot of fun without any danger. There was no pressure to buy souvenirs or forced tips, which are common in major tours. It was a very satisfying tour that covered all the fun things to do, such as touring local villages, riding buffaloes and coconut baskets, and making and eating homemade spring rolls out of rice paper!

Bespoke tour - We booked a basket boat tour through the hotel we were staying at which was organized by John. It was such a great activity for the kids and adults. We had a half day more at Hoi An and John kindly organized a quick bespoke tour for us to ride a water buffalo that was near our hotel. It was a perfect activity for the amount of tine we had and John organized it all. Very knowledgeable and honest.

Best tour Local village and Basket boat with John Lee - John led us on a wonderful day trip from Hoi An. We cycled through rice paddy fields to a traditional market garden. We met the lady who had been tending those fields for decades and tried some of her produce. We even had a go using some of her equipment. On our way to the fishing excursion I road a water buffalo. On the fishing tour I tried my hand at traditional fishing methods. We also enjoyed a ride on the basket boats through the mangroves. A tasty lunch was served. John was an excellent host. Friendly, fun and informative. He kindly sent through photos and videos as a record of our day out.

Authentic, fun, delicious experience of a lifetime - This tour was the best thing we have done in Vietnam. John (tour Lead) and Truong (my excellent Vespa driver), took me and my family to local villages, showcasing the best organic local herb / vegetable farm, a ride on a “Vietnamese BMW” (a buffalo), fishing in a basket boat, and a couple of hands on experiences with pottery making and wood carving that my 7 year old daughter in particular loved. And the best coffee in Hoi An!!! Could not recommend any higher. John has great knowledge, obviously cares about the service he provides, the environment (eco), his people, and providing authentic experiences that will stay with his customers for a lifetime. Thank you so much John and Truong. I didn’t even mention the food, which was sensational. Awesome job - good luck with your business, and thank you for looking after our daughter so well.

Knowlegable local and friendly guide - John took us on a tour of Hoi An on motorcycles providing first hand exposure to making local pottery, farming, basket boats with an awesome lunch and great local coffee earlier in the day. John's local knowledge is second to none with many contacts and was able to pull a tour together at short notice. John also guided us through the old city visiting various attractions. It was no trouble for John to provide other local tips and recommendations along with explaining local culture, customs and ways of living. Highly recommended.

Village experience - Was a fantastic trip with John and his boys riding around behind the scenes of the countryside showing a glimpse of village life. We felt safe on the bikes and we were introduced to many local people who were so welcoming and showed us aspects of daily life and what they do to produce an income. The Coffee stop was more modern and we tried all the different types of coffee we would otherwise not have done. We would definitely book with John again, he was super friendly and his English was of a really good standard.
