Hoi An Ancient Town - Approximately between 08:30 and 09:00: Your day begins with a pickup from your hotel, followed by a bike ride to the Hoi An pier where you’ll board a ferry to cross the Thu Bon river. Between 09:00 and 11:30: Continue your bike journey along scenic paths through rice fields and over bamboo bridges by the river, heading towards Tra Nhieu village. During this segment, you’ll encounter local fishermen and villagers, observe children on their way to school, and visit the Tran and Huynh family chapels. You’ll meet Mr. Kha, an 80-year-old sampan basket maker, and explore the sculpture workshop of M. Huynh Ri. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to try your hand at mat weaving at Mrs. Duoc’s residence. Around 11:30 to 12:00: The tour heads back to the Hoi An ferry. From 12:00 to 13:30: Enjoy a leisurely walk to Bach Dang wharf, greeted by local female vendors carrying baskets laden with traditional dishes. These vendors set up their stalls along the sidewalk, offering over 20 different types of dishes prepared from family recipes using local ingredients. Select from a variety of local delicacies such as grilled meats, pancakes, Mi Quang noodles, and sweet soups. Take a moment to sit on a sidewalk chair and savor the flavors in your own style. Approximately 13:30 to 14:00: You’ll either be escorted back to your hotel or you can opt to spend some free time shopping.
