Attentive and caring Guides - My two sisters and I had an amazing experience with Harry and his tour assistant Nga on the walking food tour. They were both so friendly, personable, enthusiastic, and patient as they shared their culture with such passion and in-depth knowledge, we were treated as their guests, not just paying customers. They showed sincere care and respect for each one of us in our group of six, as our ages were quite diverse. At no time were we rushed during our time together. Harry was very perceptive to our desire to linger or move on from each attraction. This was confirmed by us realizing that at the end, we had gone over the allocated time frame of the tour...time flew. Harry's tour attractions are local without crowds of tourists in the same place, very authentic and genuine. That was the third tour we have done while in Vietnam, and it truly is the best. Harry and Nga have given us three sisters such happy special memories of our time in Hoi An. Absolutely recommend Angiee adventures while in Hoi An...it is a must to do on any travellers wish list. Sincere thanks Harry and Nga for our memorable time.

Loved this tour with Harry so much that we booked Angiees Adventures Countryside tour as well. - Harry is a very talented, skilful guide. He genuinely cares about his customers, and is interested in them. Together with Nga, he was attentive to the needs and interests of the group. We never felt rushed at any place. They stayed for as long as the group was interested and until all our questions were answered. We were a group of 3 sisters. The highlights of the tour were all different for us, and that is what I think makes the tour a success. Harry has put together an itinerary that has something that will appeal for all. However, we especially loved speaking with the mung bean grower. Harry and Nga interpreted our questions for him and then translated his answers. He was so patient, with such a lovely demeanour, and willing to answer all our questions. The mung beans were the freshest, most crispy mung beans I’ve ever eaten. We enjoyed Harry so much that we booked the Angiees Adventures Countryside Tour as well, which was different, but even more enjoyable. I cannot recommend one over the other as they both showcased different places and local food and handcraft producers. So, my recommendation is to do both if you have time in Hoi An. Both tours left us feeling deeply grateful and appreciative to the people we met because they enriched our time in Hoi An and made it so memorable.

Excellent tour - very much recommend doing if staying for a couple of days or more in Hoi An. - This was an excellent tour (a must do if in Hoi An). The tour lasts about 6 hours and is delieved by a friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic guide (Kiwi). The tour provides an overview of how the locals live, including but not limited to: - how the cao lau noodles are made and who in the local area makes them - how and where the local beansprouts are made - a visit to a local broom maker - a visit to the local market with commentary and tastings of various dishes and local drinks (which were all tasty) - a visit to a local cake maker with tastings - visits to various local food places for local food and drink tastings ( specific to the Hoi An area) - A visit to a coffee shop at the end to try local coffees and smoothies It's worth noting that this trip includes lots of food tastings, so much so, we couldn't eat it all. We never expected all the food that was going to be offered during the trip. It includes multiple dishes from small restaurants popular with the locals, some of which use the ingredients from the producers you see earlier in the tour, e.g. the noodles and beansprouts, which was interesting. All in all, a superb tour, which was excellent value and really informative (delivered by a pationate knowledgeable guide). Do make sure you don't eat before attending this tour. Highly recommended if in Hoi An to get a tSte of local culture.

A Great Hoi An Food Experience - Big thanks to Kiwi and Queen for showing us the whole journey of Hoi An food! From rice paddies to backyard factories and easy to miss stalls in the market, they showed us the places that locals prefer, and how each ingredient adds to the dish. I felt like I was part of a food documentary on TV✨️

Amazing and highly recommend - The Hidden Gems of Old Hoi An with Harry was such a fantastic experience and would without doubt recommend this to any other visitors. From experiencing authentic noodle making as it happened to seeing how bean spouts are grown and harvested and then follow these products to the fresh food market then to restaurants serving them. We experienced a number of Hoi An’s famous dishes during the tour, many of them we would never have known without a guide and it was so nice to be able to support small producers and street stall vendors. There were only two of us in the tour which allowed us both to participate in making noodles and easily sit at small stalls in the fresh food markets. To top it all off, Harry was taking some great photos and videos of our experience and shared them all with us at the end of the tour. We took our own photos as well but those Harry took were so much better and many of them were of us experiencing the food. It was an early start (6am pickup) but well worth it to beat the heat of the day and see noodle production in action prior to the produce going straight to market. One tip is to wear a hat and sunscreen as some short stretches of walking are in the sun. A highly interactive tour with a fantastic and knowledgable host. We highly recommend this tour if you are in Hoi An.

Great! - The highlight of this tour for us was definitely visiting the local family producers and learning the history behind the products. The walking tour was a good introduction to vietnam if you hadnt done many tours here before or have limited time in Hoi An as it gave you great history & information. We had Kiwi (Quyen) as our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable.

Tour worth waking up to! - Harry arranged a car to pick us up at 5am in the morning (so the weather was still fairly comfortable as it was a walking tour), and we met up with Kiwi, our lovely tour guide, had some snacks and coffee, and we were off. We visited a selection of small family businesses that, for decades, have provided the essential foods that feed the people of Hoi An. I won't give away the details but you can probably read them in other posts. Basically, expect to leave with a bellyful of wonderful food (which, will probably last you all day), and fond memories (which will last a lot longer than the food).

Great tour - The Hidden Gems of Old Hoi An is a great tour. My guide was Kiwi and she was fantastic. It was great to move away from the main tourist areas and into the back streets of Hoi An. A fascinating and informative opportunity to see the famous Cao Lau noodles being made and learning how bean sprouts are grown. The tour was really nicely paced with lots of stops during the tour. I tried a wonderful variety of local foods and drinks. We finished with great coffee at a local cafe. I highly recommend this tour. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
