Walking tour of historical town of Hoi An and cycling through the rice fields - Best tour guide in town! John was recommended by our hotel as a tour guide. On the first day we have done a walking tour around the historical town of Hoi An, where John took us the local fish market, the Japanese bridge, several museums and many pagodas. John provided plenty of information about each site as we also covered the topic about Hoi An and its people during the war in Vietnam which we found quite interesting. On our second day we met John again for a bike tour to the rice fields and vegetable village where we learned about the process of how rice is made and at a later stage harvest. During our visit at the vegetable village we stopped for a break at a local house and met a lovely lady where we watered the plants and took a few pictures. Overall, John is someone with great knowledge about Hoi An and Vietnam. He is someone who is interactive, very kind, always smiling and joking around. Amazing day out! - John came and picked us up and we rode our bikes around Hoi An. We saw the rice farms, village, made lanterns and had a delicious lunch. John is very friendly, helpful, great at answering questions. We had a fun time chatting with him, he's very funny and bubbly! I would highly recommend going on a tour with John!
