- La Vang Church - At 8 am, our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hue City to begin the full-day DMZ Tour by Private Car. By around 9:30 am, we will arrive at La Vang Holyland. La Vang Church is a renowned pilgrimage site for Catholics in Vietnam, known for the 1978 apparition of the Virgin Mary who blessed Christians facing hardships. A holy shrine was subsequently built near three banyan trees.
- The Rockpile - Continuing the Hue DMZ Tour, we will travel along Highway No.9 to visit The Rock Pile Hill, a significant U.S. military base from 1966 to 1968. It served as a watchtower for monitoring Vietnamese military activities.
- Cầu Đa Krông - Next, we will stop at the Dakrong Bridge, an essential part of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, located midway along Highway No.9. From this bridge, you can easily access “Hamburger Hill.”
- Khe Sanh Combat Base - The tour then proceeds to the Khe Sanh Combat Base, which was attacked by the North Vietnamese military in early 1968. After exploring the Khe Sanh Marine Combat Base, we will return to Highway 1.
- Hiền Lương Bridge - At around 2:30 pm, we will visit the Ben Hai River and Hien Luong Bridge, which served as the demarcation line between North and South Vietnam following the Geneva Agreement. A white line painted in the middle of the Hien Luong Bridge marks the border between the two sides.
- Vinh Moc Tunnels - The final stop on our Vietnam DMZ tour by Private Car is the Vinh Moc Tunnels, an impressive underground complex in Quang Tri province. Located 30 meters below ground, the tunnels functioned as a village, complete with water wells, kitchens, family rooms, meeting rooms, toilets, and healthcare spaces. Sixty families lived here, and 17 children were born in the tunnels.
