  • Dunrobin Castle and Gardens - A stately home in Sutherland, Dunrobin Castle is the family seat of Clan Sutherland. John O’Groats is one of the best places in the UK to see Atlantic puffins, you might also see some grey seals or even an orca!

Great Tour expertly led - Great tour expertly led by Will, his stories about the Highlands and its history were fantastic. Excellent visits to Dunrobin Castle and John OGroats including a local distillery. When the coach broke down on the way home Tonks came to the rescue very quickly. Will found us a local hotel for complementary drinks, a log fire and great views. Almost as if it was planned! Highly recommend this company

Such a lovely time with... - Such a lovely time with the tour guide, Chris! He shared many fun stories and information about the area, along with the occasional joke. We made some extra stops when we had time (such as to see some highland cows that we passed!!). It was a great time with beautiful scenery and food company.

Excellent tour to John O’Groats and Dunrobin Castle - Alex was a fantastic host for our journey up to Dunrobin Castle and John O’Groats. His stories were informative and absolutely engaging, peppered with fun bits of humor. And the sites - stunning! We weren’t sure what to expect when we booked this venture north last minute, and we are so glad we did. Thank you Alex!

A few hundred miles from North Pole - Tonks made the difference. She was humorous, had very good knowledge. And the tour was breathtaking! It was a heady experience, going right to the northern most part of Great Britain!

A must do to put on your itinerary - Sinclair and Kathleen were amazing tour guides. From the start of the tour, Sinclair had us laughing, they provided us with great information, and also shared their personal experiences or connections to each place we stopped. The trip was beautiful and scenic the whole way. 10/10 highly recommend.

Fun Day Out to North-East Highlands - Our driver was Will and he was very knowledgeable and entertaining, giving lots of information about the local history and anecdotes. The small van wasn’t the greatest transport. We were tightly packed and the driving sound was loud. The speakers weren’t great at the back, straining to hear. We were well taken care of and enjoyed the day out, particularly Dunrobin Castle with its beautiful grounds and falconry show.

A little disappointing for a region that deserved better. - THERE WAS TOO LITTLE EXPLANATIONS ABOUT THE PLACES VISITED FOR ME. THE DRIVING WAS PERHAPS A LITTLE RASHY AT TIMES. OTHERWISE, THE VISIT TO THE CASTLE WAS WORTH IT AS WELL AS THE MAGNIFICENT VIEWPOINT AT DESTINATION, VERY APPRECIATE. ON THE HOWEVER, IN THE END, THE ROAD IS LONG AND I'M NOT SURE THAT THIS EXCURSION IS WORTH IT.

Just John O’Groats is worth it - The main attraction is as the tittle described John O’Groats which is stunning, can’t say nothing about the others because the guide decided by himself that weren’t worth it to go. So, I paid like $70 dollars for something that only included one attraction and the others were dismissed by the guide. I feel like I need a return of my money.

Shop Assistants are fraudsters and give your change in old pound notes - beware, especially foreign visitors. - PLEASE DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THE FIRST & LAST GIFT SHOP IN JOHN O'GROATS. I went there on Friday 17th May and was given change in 3 pound notes, which I admit I didn't realise as I was distracted, and I am not Scottish, and did not recognise their colour. They were pointed out to me when refused when I tried to spend them. I am hoping my bank will exchange them for me. I have emailed the manager, who is probably aware of the scam and has made quite a bit of money over the years, as before writing this review, I read of this happening to someone else in 2000!!! Before I knew about the notes, I tried to ask the shop assistant about an item, and almost asked her if ' she had got out of bed the wrong side', as she was not interested in helping me, or even speaking to me, and never smiled. You would get more conversation from the sign outside. First and Last is the right name.
