Fun filled day with many stops and perfect guide, Fiona - We were able to see so much on this full day tour while on the Regal Princess British Isles cruise stop in Invergordon. Convenient pick up/drop off at the pier. Price included all entry fees for the venues we saw. Fiona gave an excellent narrative all along the way and brought water, scottish treats and whiskey for a touching tribute, history and sang a gaelic song at Culloden Battlefield. She also blended in her own local history and provided a nice personal perspective. Our favorite tourguide of the many tours we took at various ports throughout our cruise. Highly recommend.

Fun filled tour - Fun filled tour, from the amazing tour guide Fiona to the many attractions visited. Started at Invergordon and first stop was at Urquhart Castle. Then a boat trip on Loch Ness to the Caledonian Canal. The bus met us there and we were thrilled when we got close up to the Highland cows. Then onto Cawdor Castle to walk through the castle and gardens. And then to Culloden with all its history. A great day out and would highly recommend.

Great day in the Loch Ness area - Independently booked for a day tour while our cruise ship was in Invergordon. It was an excellent one to choose. We were met outside the port gates by our guide Fiona and proceeded to Urquhart Castle, then on an hour cruise on Loch Ness (sadly no site of Nessie), a trip to Cawdor Castle and grounds and finally to Culloden Battlefield where ended the visit with a Whisky Toast and Gaelic Singing with Fiona. What a great experience! In addition we were presented with Scottish treat and snacks along the way, and Fiona was a wealth of knowledge of the area. This is one tour I would take again if ever in the area.

Do Not Go to Ivergorden and Miss this Tour ......simply the BEST - This tour was a highlight for my group. We were fortunate enough to have Fiona as our guide and she was a pro! she kept the group enchanted with singing and Scottish poetry and detailed information about the people and places we were going. She gave us a taste of the culture with sweets and whiskey and the day went so fast!!...This tour was with Gavin Nicholson and it was exceptional. We hired the bus privately for 30 people and it was well worth it!!!

Best Tour I have ever. - Fiona provided historical detail, culture and social background of Invergordon. She taught us to sing Scottland folk songs and even share a bottle of whisky in remembrance of Scottish warriors fought.

enjoyable - We enjoyed the Ultimate Loch Ness Group Tour. The castle, or what's left of it ,is minimum and there was lots of people there the day we toured. THe boat ride was nice and bus ride scenic.

Great Cruise Ship Excursion - We had a fantastic day tour with Invergordon Tours - thanks to Gavin and Fiona! Gavin did a great job with all the pre-cruise information and keeping me informed of all the options etc. On the day of the tour, it was very easy connecting with Fiona and the rest of the group. Fiona did a fantastic job - she was both very informative on everything regarding the Highlands along with being very engaging. She shared her personal perspective on the area and lifestyle which made it quite relatable. The bus rides were all interesting and Fiona even made that fun with some group activities (won't give away any spoiler alerts). The tour itinerary covered a lot of ground and the area highlights that we were interested in (Loch Ness, Culloden, Cawdor castle). I would highly recommend Invergordon Tours!

Highlands - No Monsters on this tour - On a around Britain Cruise with one of the stops being Invergordon. Wanting to explore what the area had to offer - Looked to book a trip. The ones on offer by the Cruise Company were expensive so looked elsewhere. How delighted I am that I found Invergordon Tours - A little hesitant to book independently - but the booking was straightforward - Good email communication from Gavin - all confirmed with joining instructions a week before - Took any worries away. Our Guide for the day Fiona - Wow what a star - Informative, Friendly and kept us all entertained throughout the day. The Day itself covering so many and varied sights with just about the right amount of time to explore each attraction without it being too long or tiring day. If in the area - Give this Company a look-up Personal and Friendly and sure to give you a great day out and very well priced. I would hope to go back - Just to find that Loch Ness Monster !

Best Tour ever! - Had to write a review to thank the wonderful Fiona and the stunning day she gave us cruisers last week. It’s the best tour I’ve ever been on anywhere, we had such a varied day to Loch Ness (the Highlander hot choc was great and I don’t like Whiskey), Cawdor Castle, Culloden battle fields, singing, Burns recitals, Urquhart Castle, sunshine & rain, loch cruise, highland cattle, cafes, Loch Ness monsters, Scottish piper, etc etc. a day we won’t forget for a long time. Worth going back to experience the day again! Much recommended, thanks so much.

Great, but, not as advertised - The tour & guide (Fiona) were excellent- But Viator advertised that this was a small group tour with no more than 20 passengers- what we got was a 50some passenger bus, quite a disappointment. That said, if you’re OK w/big buses, The Ultimate Loch Ness experience was great.
