Most people know a theme park inspired by one famous mouse. But one dedicated to monkeys? At Monkeyland, a natural habitat located deep in the Dominican Republic’s jungle and home to squirrel monkeys. On this 5.5-hour guided tour where you’ll also explore the habitat’s on-site botanical garden, as well as a coffee and cacao plantation. Chat it up with local farmers, learn about their organic methods and taste tropical fruit just plucked from a tree. Hotel transport from Punta Cana and Bavaro is included.
- It is recommended that you wear comfortable shoes and bring a camera and cash for souvenirs.
- Participants with a cold or a flu will not be allowed to interact with monkeys.

It’s A Must I Do It Again… Wonderful… NO Complaints At All!!! - Experience was amazing definitely a must try. I must say the monkeys was a little wild but it was really FUN!!! The monkeys will catch you off guard and surprise you when they all come at once and don’t be afraid to get a lil pee or poop on you it don’t smell at all lol I can’t wait to do it again… I had Gary and Samuels as our tour operator and they was GREAT so nice and friendly explained everything to us and got us to and from the resort safely…

Monkeyland - Loved it! The monkeys are super friendly and the tour guides, Sam and Freddy, were awesome. Would definitely recommend this adventure to family and friends.

Great experience had a lot of fun with friends and learn about culture great experience overall. - Great experience learning about Dominican culture, the monkey land experience was excellent trip activity. Learning how to make chocolate and what goes into the coffee and shed butter and oil was definitely a very good experience learning about the history of what they do and what the processes over our experience for young and old individuals, definitely 10 would do again

Best experience - My husband and I had a great time, from the driver Nathan m all the way to the tour guides with monkeys and learning the culture and chocolate!!! Very fun and informational , lots of photos ! We even bought photos and took our own and got to taste some stuff and buy some stuff bring tips because you are going to have a blast and love every minute !!

Had a great time during... - Had a great time during the demonstrations learning about coffee and cocoa. Our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and funny. I also felt like the time we had with the monkeys was sufficient.

Worth every penny - Monkeys were so fun, the hosts and guides were incredible. The drive up was fascinating and the tour guide was great. The experience was amazing and would absolutely recommend for families, couples, or solos.

Monkeyland experience - My friend and I recently went to monkeyland and it was ok at best! They showed them to us for about 30 mins but it wasn’t anything too crazy! The little squirrel monkeys were cute and jumping around but you had to watch them or they would use you as a human toilet!
Honestly the best part was meeting the people and our tour guide Rudy at the end showing us how the people stay self sufficient and their lifestyle! That made up for the disappointment in the small tour with the monkeys! Everyone has their opinion but honestly I could’ve done without this one still enjoyed myself! The views were absolutely amazing though that was worth the long trip from our resort I won’t lie about that!
