Worth it! - Couple in our sixties and we had so much fun, especially watching others! Yes they gave a brief safety announcement on where life vests were located. Yes there is a bathroom. Yes you must purchase all beverages, soft drinks or liquor. The chefs, captain and bartender all had personality and were so friendly and accommodating. There were two young children on our cruise and they were sure to include them. Food was delicious, sunset beautiful and just all together a beautiful evening. We stayed on the pier afterwards to watch the full moon rise.

Great Experience - Our group included my parents, me, my husband and our 10 month old son. We were able to take the stroller onto the boat which was a major convenience. There were about 30 people on the boat, which included 10 kids. There were plenty of seats, but some people chose to stand. There was a bar which served several non alcoholic and alcoholic options. The food was served buffet style and was delicious! You did have to eat in your laps, but it was doable. There was a bathroom on board. Great views of the island and overall fun experience!

Amazing food but overcrowded onboard - Food was excellent but it was very crowded onboard. We were expecting more of an intimate experience based on the price we paid per person. It was hard to move around the boat and not enough seating for everyone which made it hard to eat. I think this experience would have been perfect if they booked a few less people.

sunset cruise - A few things to know, no tables to eat at so be prepared to hold your bowl. Also you do not get anything to drink, you have to buy drinks, including water. On our cruise people had to stand because there were not enough seats for everyone. The pilot of the boat spent 50% of his time on his phone or talking to one of his buddies so at times he did not have his eyes on the horizon. We have done many other cruises on the island, this one was my least favorites to date in terms of cruising. Don’t get me wrong the ride was nice with a great breeze. For conversation it was very difficult to hear because of the loudness of the music. Now for the food- fantastic! Could not ask for better food, the two that cooked did a great job, food was hot, beef tender, chicken seasoned, etc.

Basically a SAKE BOOZE CRUISE. - There needs to be more information about the cruise posted, for example, the exact location of the pier not just a street address-signage is needed, what exactly is included such as food only-beverages, even water, are not included, not appropriate for children- it was basically a SAKE booze cruise. Food was horrible! We left at 6:30pm and never ate until 8pm. There was a restroom.

Do not waste your money - Do not waste your time or money - I have tried to contact the company multiple times on these issues and have not heard back, so want to warn others before they make the same mistake! I took a mid-sized group on this trip and was completely disappointed, underwhelmed and frankly embarrassed to have brought friends. Let’s start with the biggest issue - as we were boarding the small boat, we were told that the single bathroom for 40 people, for 2 hours, while eating and drinking, was out of service. Not sure it’s even permittable to operate this cruise without working facilities, but we did. We were told we would stop halfway through to use facilities on land but of course this never happened. Due to this, a lot of us elected not to eat or drink just to be safe. Frankly, if the staff at boarding were even remotely helpful about getting a refund we would not have gotten on the boat as could already see the disaster looming (crew told us we would need to contact the owner to request a refund (even with the boat broken???) but given my current list of unanswered emails to the owner, I can’t imagine we would have ever received a refund regardless). However, even with a functioning boat, I would not recommend this to anyone. The boat is very small (especially for 40 people) so some end up standing the entire trip. There are also no tables, so to eat and drink you are balancing your bowl on your hand with your drink on the floor. The food is fine, but they don’t announce when it is ready so you just have to keep an eye on it the entire time. Lastly, but certainly not least, they never do any semblance of a safety briefing, location of life jackets, etc - given they have an open flame on board in the form of the hibachi and allowing guests to throw fire around the boat, it would have been nice to know they had some safety devices on board (although given the toilet situation, maybe they don’t). The staff / crew the entire trip were fairly useless in terms of communication overall so probably shouldn’t be shocked. This wasn’t a great cruise for a variety of the above reasons but you then add in the $100+ price tag per head and it becomes an absolute terrible use of money. And don’t even think about contacting the company to try to have a discussion about the issues - once they have your money, they vanish. There are so many lovely options to get on the water around the island, but this is not one of them! Find something else and enjoy the beauty of Hilton Head without the pain points of this monstrosity.
