The perfect tour - My family of four with children 12yrs and 15yrs old completed this tour yesterday. Jenny our guide chatty, funny, and interactive. She shared her knowledge of each activity with depth and understanding, as well as plenty of information on life in general in Ben Tre, Mekong Delta. The tour was perfectly paced, had great diversity with the bike ride and boat trips and did not feel touristy, true as advertised. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we will definitely recommend this tour to others and highly recommend Jenny as a delightful host. :)

Would definitely recommend this tour - We had an amazing day trip to Mekong Delta. Pick-up and everything else was very well organized, the communication via WhatsApp worked without any problems at all. Our guide Tri was the best - he spoke excellent English and shared a lot of interesting stories about the region with us. We requested the vegan option for lunch and the meals we got tasted soo good - would definitely recommend!

Great day out learning about local craftsmanship and their sustainability ethos - Superb day out with the family on one of the Mekong tributaries Tri from Joy Journeys was super informative and very calm polite funny and approachable. He introduced us to local brick makers who used the river bed to formulate the bricks, dry them and the place them in the kiln to bake using the rice husks as a heat source Next we took a boat trip to a village to see chocolate being made and coconut candy being made. Followed by a cycle ride / tuk tuk ride for lunch to a Homs stay for lunch Fish pancakes, soup, rice and chicken and desert was a fruit similar to a lychees Next we got into boats and saw more of the life on the river Through out Tri explained various things either flora or fauna related My 3 kids really enjoyed it and their ages are 20, 17 and 15

Exactly as described…. - I enjoyed a fantastic day with Tyson as my guide. Only 3 in our group and the whole trip from pick up to drop off was very well coordinated. Tyson had both great English and great knowledge, not just about Mekon delta, but about life in Vietnam. I deliberately chose this tour as less touristy, and we barely saw any other tourists, and plenty of time on the water. Lunch was excellent

Excellent tour which was very well organised, visited a lot of places and provided a good insight local life and produce - Great trip with an excellent guide, Helen. We booked this trip due to it being advertised as ‘less touristy’ and it definitely was. Helen was great, she provided us with lots of information, both on the places we visited and the country’s cultures. It was very well organised, starting with an early departure of 7am which ensured our first stop at the temple and our rides along the canal were very quiet and relaxing. There were several boat rides along the Mekong river and coconut canals to visit local villages to visit a honey producer, coconut factory and fish farm and a tuk tuk ride to a family home for a delicious lunch. Throughout the journey we had refreshments including water, jasmine tea and local fresh fruits and Helen kept us entertained with lots of local information and stories. We would definitely recommend this tour as it does feel like you are away from most of the other tourists.

100% accurate - book it now! - We had very high hopes and this tour delivered! Biking through the forest listening to birds, a delicious lunch made before us, and most of all, a tranquil, peaceful boat ride through the river. The coconut chocolate is amazing! The brick factory was informative and interesting. We had a group of 5 people, and saw maybe 5 other tourists total. This tour is true to its word. Tom, our guide, was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City. Definitely a must-do tour!
