The Vinh Trang Pagoda was founded in the mid-19th century by a monk named Hue Dang. It is situated on a 2-hectare area and is surrounded by green trees and beautiful gardens. The architecture of the pagoda is a blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Cambodian styles, which makes it unique and captivating. The main building of the pagoda is a large sanctuary that is dedicated to the Buddha. The interior of the temple is beautifully decorated with colorful statues of the Buddha, as well as depictions of Buddhist legends and teachings. The roof of the temple is decorated with dragon-shaped ornaments, which is a common feature of traditional architecture.

Amazing trip to Mekong Delta with the best guide, Tom - Travelled with my 2 sisters and booked the “less touristy” option for Mekong Delta. We are so happy with the itinerary and the pace. Tom, our tour guide, is excellent! We learned a lot about the history of the place, the geography, the industries and the Vietnam culture. We would book another tour with them again tomorrow.

Nice daytrip outside Ho Chi Minh - Super interesting trip. Or guide Tyson was super friendly and knowledgeable. We were a very small group of only 5 which was great. The boat tour through one of the canals was my highlight. While all the places you visit also sell products, you are never pushed to buy anything. Overall a great experience and definitely a nice daytrip outside Ho Chi Minh. I personally would have enjoyed more historical information about the region, but that is just my preference.

Interesting but if you have little time it is not worth it - A trip to Vietnam definitely includes a stop in the Mekong Delta; interesting for us Europeans who have always heard of it. We had several experiences: the brick factory, the candy factory made with coconut water, the trip by motor boat and rowing boat, tuk tuk in the forest. Having visited all of Vietnam from north to south there was this stage but objectively if you have little time there are much more interesting areas to visit
