- The Independence Palace - Reunification Palace was the base of Vietnamese General Ngo Dinh Diem until his death in 1963. It made its name in global history in 1975. A tank belonging to the North Vietnamese Army crashed through its main gate, ending the Vietnam War. Today, it’s a must-visit for tourists in Ho Chi Minh City.
The palace is like a time capsule frozen in 1975. You can see two of the original tanks used in the capture of the palace parked in the grounds. Reunification Palace was the home and workplace of the French Governor of Cochin-China. It has lush gardens, secret rooms, antique furniture, and a command bunker. It’s still in use to host important occasions in Ho Chi Minh, including APEC summits.

Brilliant day tour - Brilliant day tour of Saigon with Tony and great driver. Lots of interesting places en-route including the War Museum, the Post office, the Palace of reunification and a temple, all topped off with a great lunch.

A great way to see the highlights of Saigon - Tony was a fantastic tour guide. His knowledge of the city and country was very impressive, as is his English. This was a very informative way to begin our stay in Saigon. Highly recommended.

I LOVE IT - It was brilliant. Tony, our guide was so professional, friendly, knowledgeable and good fun. He explained everything so well and even took us to see some sights after the tour and told us the history, it was great.

highlight of our time in HCMC! - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Tony (Duy Anh) was excellent and friendly guide! Not only did we appreciate Tony's expert knowledge on history and culture in Saigon, we also enjoyed his conversation and openness.
We learnt a lot about real Vietnam with everywhere we went.
Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting HCMC.

tony the tour guide - We have been travelling to Vietnam for over a week, and this was one of our favourite activities we've done! Our guide, Tony, was excellent. He made us feel very safe riding around the city and was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to about Vietnamese history and culture. This is a must-do for your first time in Saigon to learn about the city! There is something here for anyone interested in culture, food, or the history of Saigon.

We love it - Tony, our guide, seemed to be having as good a time as we were. He spoke excellent English and was very professional, but he was also relaxed and warm, and was wonderful host and ambassador for his fine city.

Great tour - Had such a good time with Tony. Tony our guide was super knowledgeable and fun. We were taken around Saigon all day long. Good food, and unique experiences. Definitely recommend as a good intro to Saigon. Thank you.
