- Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theater - Pick you up from the hotel for your first stop and enjoy the busy street of Saigon in the late evening, getting yourself into the Saigon atmosphere. \nNext, enjoy the unique art of the water puppet show, a traditional art form closely connected with the long-standing spiritual life of the Vietnamese people. It is performed in a pool of water with the water surface being the stage. A traditional Vietnamese orchestra provides background music accompaniment. Singers with origin in north Vietnam sing songs which tell the story being acted out by the puppets (which are carved out of wood). Although the authentic shows are exclusively in Vietnamese, the tales depict rural life in villages and are easy to understand. The shows typically last for one hour and offer a colorful way to enjoy an ancient tradition.\n- Saigon River - Then, continue to the harbor for a dinner cruise, and enjoy the city lights and panoramic views of Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy sumptuous Vietnamese cuisine on this magical dinner cruise aboard a traditional-style Dragon Boat or the Modern Style Boat (depending on the day)\nThe trip ends back at your hotel around 9:30 pm.

Great tour, excellent guide! - The water puppet show is unmissable! The cruise was nice too - they even catered for a vegetarian in our group, the food was excellent. But the highlight was our tour guide Sally, she was amazing!! Thanks for a lovely evening, Sally!

Worth it and Enjoyable Experience ❤️ - I had an amazing time! My tour guide, Danny, has been warm and accommodating. He made sure that I am comfortable and enjoying. The Water Puppet Show was entertaining and the food in the River Cruise was amazing! I am blown. The performers there are also very very kind and always smiling. ☺️ I will share this story to my friends and colleagues in the Philippines 🇵🇭 They should also experience this.

Absolutely exceptional! - Absolutely excellent tour!! Bao was a great tour guide, full of information about Vietnam. His English was very good. Picked us up at our hotel and dropped us back off. First class all the way! Puppet show was fantastic with live music. Dinner on the ship was excellent! We Loved it all. Thank you TNK travel and thank you to Trip Advisor! We highly recommend this tour!

Very enjoyable - water puppet show was very enjoyable even though didn’t understand the story as it was all in Vietnamese didn’t effect the overall experience as very cultural … the cruise and dinner was very good would of been better if we arrived earlier as didn’t have much time to experience the view as we were eating but would definitely recommend.

Saigon Evening Tour with Dinner Cruise - One of the best way to experience cultural shows with our very enthusiastic and friendly tour guide (Patrick from TNK travel) really a good communicator with his good english accent!

A great cultural experience to share with the family - We loved our tour and Sally was a wonderful guide. She was very friendly and gave au a good introduction to the experience. We enjoyed the puppet show a great deal and the dinner cruise was a great way to see the city skyline and feast on tasty food.

Water puppet show was really good - The water puppet show was very entertaining
Even though the commentary wasn’t in English we grasped the meaning
It was very well presented
The river cruise not so great
A very quick dash about 45 minutes sailing total there and back
A rushed meal (total time onboard was 1 hour 15 minutes)
I didn’t think to contact the tour operator to say I don’t eat fish of any kind
Four of the dishes were fish
The boat was very crowded and with the short time allocated we struggled to take any photographs
Our guide was a likeable young man who spoke excellent English
