Highlights

01:00 pm: The tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or a designated location.

Riding on the back of a motorbike, you will pass by the Thich Quang Duc statue. The tour guide will share the story of this monk who self-immolated in 1963 due to strict rules in Vietnam, helping you envision the historical context of that year.

Next, enjoy a stop at a renowned local restaurant to savor beef noodle soup, a dish originating from Central Vietnam, and sugarcane juice, a naturally sweet beverage balanced with kumquat.

Following this, you will be driven to Nguyen Thien Thuat Street, a famous street food hub in Saigon known for its diverse cuisine and local culture. This area is home to residents from various parts of Vietnam, contributing to its rich and varied culinary scene.

Take a short walk to explore and gain insights into the local lifestyle, history, and stories of the area. Enjoy a serving of rice noodles with grilled beef, a popular Vietnamese street food.

The journey continues to Saigon’s largest flower market, featuring a wide variety of flowers from across Vietnam and serving as a major wholesale market in Ho Chi Minh City.

Learn the art of making Vietnamese coffee at a traditional coffee shop. Additionally, visit the over 300-year-old Thien Hau Temple, Chinese medicine street, ghost apartment, animal market, and motorbike market in District 5.

Experience the floating market, where you will see how locals live and trade products on boats. This market offers a variety of goods, including tropical fruits, coconuts, and vegetables, sourced from the Mekong Delta. Enjoy coconut juice and listen to the tour guide’s stories about life on the river.

The next stop is District 4, the smallest district in Saigon, resembling a small island surrounded by the Saigon River. This area is a melting pot of immigrants from all over Vietnam, resulting in a diverse population and cultural richness. Guests will feel immersed in a food paradise with a unique cultural experience.

The tour guide will then take you to a local restaurant to try Vietnamese noodle soup (Pho), giving you an authentic Saigonese dining experience.

A fun night on the town in Saigon! - We went with Kim as our guide and my driver was Thien. They were both excellent. I was never scared at all of driving at night with Thien. He was careful and always used hand signals when turning. Kim spoke great English and was so friendly and happy to have us. I would highly recommend. It was one of the best food and drink tours we have experienced and we travel alot!
