- Rosewood Schloss Fuschl (2024) - Be ready for pickup at 10.00 am at your Salzburg hotel. Make yourself comfortable in your comfortable touring vehicle and experience the beautiful landscape that the famous ‘Salzkammergut’ lake region has to offer. After a short drive from Salzburg you’ll reach the castle of Fuschl. Capture a picture of the castle of Fuschl with the emerald-green Lake Fuschlsee as its backdrop, before heading on to St. Gilgen with Lake Wolfgang, the next photo stop.
- St Gilgen Mozartplatz - The next highlight is Wolfgang Lake and the villages St. Gilgen and St. Wolfgang. Capture a picture of St. Wolfgang from a great view point before arriving at the next town, in Bad Ischl. The drive will take you through Bad Ischl, which is famous for the “Kaiser” (Emperor) Villa and the Café Zauner, and on to Bad Goisern and Hallstatt.
- Hallstatter See - Having reached Hallstatt and the highlight of this full day tour, your private guide will point out the must-sees of Hallstatt to you, which include a beautiful photo spot of Hallstatt, Charnel House (Bone House), Hallstatt Museum, Hallstatt Waterfall “Waldbachstrub”, Hallstatt’s local residence area and more. You will have 2 1/2 hours to explore Hallstatt and all these sites on your own as well as to have lunch in one of the great lake side restaurants in Halltsatt (at your own expense).
- Salzburger Altstadt - The ride back to Salzburg will take you via Gosau (including another great photo stop!), Dachstein Mountain Range, Russbach and Golling. After six hours exploring one of Austria’s most beautiful areas, your private tour will conclude with drop-off at your Salzburg city hotel.

Great day visiting Hallstatt! - Patrick was an amazing guide. Our family of four took the tour in October. Patrick was on time and knowledgeable in everything we asked. We needed to make a few adjustments to our day and he was totally accommodable. We had some with mobility issues in our group and Patrick made sure that we were all able to get the best experience in our day and recommend what was best. Once he knew what we were interested in he made sure to point things out. We loved every minute.

Amazing trip with beautiful views and a great local guide - One of the best trips we have ever booked. Our driver, Patrick, was outstanding-very knowledgeable and friendly. Hard to describe the beauty of Hallstatt - every angle was a picture. We highly recommend and will be back for another trip with Patrick!

Hallstatt - We took the tour to the Hallstatt from Salzburg. WOW! So beautiful! The tour guide was punctual and professional. He drove us to our destination and pointed out several areas on the route! It was spectacular scenery and the tour guide/driver knew the area well! He maneuvered the traffic well and took different routes to and from so we could see different scenery. We were very pleased with this group and would recommend!

Great way to see Hallstatt! - This was an excellent tour! Our tour guide Patrick picked us up promptly, and drove us to several beautiful spots on the way to Hallstatt. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting and enjoyable. Hallstatt was a picture perfect town. Per Patrick’s recommendations, we rented an electric boat to go out on the lake, and had lunch at the Gruner Baum Terrace restaurant. Patrick met us at the other end of town and dropped us back at our apartment. I highly recommend this tour and Patrick!

Best tour ever - don't miss this one! - Hallstatt is absolutely stunning, and our guide - Patrick - was amazing. Professional, knowledgeable, funny, and responsive to our in-the-moment requests. He knows the area very well (he grew up there) and even our most unexpected questions led to a terrific story or example. Each stop was better than the last. Next time we're in Salzburg, we will 100% choose another tour with MCM and Patrick!

An amazing tour to Hallstatt from Salzburg! - Everything was perfect, our guide Patrick was very nice and took us to beautiful spots on our way to Hallstatt to take amazing pictures and knew very well the history of each place. Very clean and comfortable van for the four of us.

Scenic day trip from Salzburg - Amazing day trip from Salzburg with stops at various sites in the lake country along the way. Tour guide was very friendly and we had plenty of time for pictures and a great lunch in Hallstatt. Can’t beat the views.
