So many ANIMALS!! - This turned out to be one of the best tours I have been on in a while. When we decided to take this tour, I really did not know what to expect or have any expectations for that matter. Bob was a fantastic tour guide! His knowledge of the land and history of Anchorage was exceptional. You can definitely tell this is one of his passions. I would recommend the tour to anyone visiting and would do the tour again in a heart beat. In addition, thanks to Bob’s guidance and expertise, we were able to see Dall Sheep, Beluga Wales, Trumpeter Swans, a bear, some wolves and red salmon! Just an all around great trip!

Fabulous Trip - Bob collected us from the information centre in Anchorage. He immediately made us feel welcome. We saw fabulous glaciers and wildlife. The bears were amazing. Just having an iPhone I wasn’t sure I could learn much about taking photos - how wrong I was. Bob is amazing and taught me things about my phone photos I never new. I now have done fantastic photos which I will treasure. Bob thought if everything he even had charger wires for all phones and sacks. A wonderful day highly recommended.

if you want to see the beauty of what's close to Anchorage - PicTours scores! - Bob's a great host and tour guide - great detailed history of the area and why everything is named the way it is; just enough corny jokes to keep you chuckling; and pay attention to the day-ending question lightning round! A great day with a great guy (and his boy!)

PicTours Alaska: The BEST way to experience the wilderness! - There is reason why PicTours Alaska keeps winning the #1 awards in tourist attractions: Bob, the owner, is the BEST at what he does! If you're going to Anchorage booking PicTours is a MUST! He picks you up wherever you are staying and drives a van that is clean & comfortable to go sightseeing in. Every seat has a window so you won't miss the sights. Bob is passionate about wildlife, flora, and glaciers. He knows where to track animals so guests can take photographs. Aside from the fantastic wildlife, stories and locations Bob took us he taught us how to use our cell phone to take excellent photos. Personally, I LOVE taking pictures & after his tutoring I started using his tips throughout the rest of the trip. His methods should be patented! The entire tour is worth how he teaches you to look at subjects in a whole new, refreshing way. We chose to do a private tour for 6 hours as we were celebrating my husband's accomplishment of seeing all 50 states with Alaska as the last. It is the crown jewel. Bob is gracious, hospitable and extremely knowledgeable. He concludes the tour with some surprises that I don't want to give away. It's a joyful day filled with everything you could hope for if you're visiting Alaska for the 1st or 10th time. Bring comfortable walking shoes and clothing layers + scarf. Bob brings water & light snacks; however, we brought our own. There's really not time to stop & have lunch so plan accordingly. Believe me, you won't miss it. The time flies and you wish it lasted longer. The centerpiece of the trip was going to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center & getting amazing photos of bears. If you're planning a trip to Anchorage reserve this tour ASAP!
