8:30 AM: Depart for Hoa Lu - Tam Coc. Enjoy the beautiful roadside scenery along the way.
10:30 AM: Upon arrival in Ninh Binh province, your guide will take you to visit Hoa Lu, the Ancient Royal Capital of Vietnam. We will explore the temples of King Dinh and King Le. If you enjoy biking, this is a great opportunity.
12:10 PM: Enjoy lunch at a nice restaurant before boarding a small boat to visit Tam Coc, which literally means “three caves.” Experience Ha Long Bay-like views with majestic limestone cliffs, mysterious yet inviting caves, and picturesque countryside scenes including peaceful streams, rice paddies, and lush green fields. Tam Coc offers a bit of everything.
3:30-4:00 PM: We will return to Hanoi by car.
6:30 PM: Arrive in Hanoi and conclude the tour.

Hoa Lu and Tam Coc, situated in Ninh Binh province about 100 km from Hanoi towards the southeast, are among the most scenic locations in the northern region. Hoa Lu had the honor of serving as Vietnam’s ancient capital for a period of 41 years, from 968 to 1009 CE. Tam Coc, in close proximity to Hoa Lu, is frequently dubbed as “Ha Long in the midst of the rice fields.” Travelers explore the tranquil Tam Coc stream on rowboats, gliding past the verdant landscapes and mountain bases leading them to cave entrances. Once inside, surprises await in forms of stalactites and stalagmites that glitter like precious stones just a few inches above the water.
