Additional Information

Over a millennium ago, Ninh Binh served as the political center for Vietnamese feudal realms. Today, it venerates the monarchs responsible for the nation’s consolidation, growth, and defense, concluding over a millennium of subjugation by the north (a territory formerly under what is now known as the ‘People’s Republic of China’), derailing efforts to culturally assimilate the Vietnamese populace. Significantly, Ninh Binh is home to the Trang An landscape complex, a twin UNESCO World Heritage site for its cultural and natural significance. The tour’s climax is the Mua Cave. Ascend upwards of 500 stone stairways to summit the peak, where a tranquil interlude awaits. From this vantage point, panoramic views of expansive rice terraces unfold, dotted with local dwellings faintly illuminated by kitchen hearths’ gentle smoke. In the horizon loom ancient limestone formations, aged over a million years. As the day wanes, seize the opportunity for a commemorative photograph together with your fellow travelers against the backdrop of the impending twilight.

  • When participating in boating, you need to wear a life jacket provided by the boatman

A truly amazing experience, excellent services, excellent tour guide - Our tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate about the local area, and was able to provide us with valuable insights into the rich cultural and historical heritage of Ninh Binh. The sights we visited were simply breathtaking, and the tour offered a perfect blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and local life. One of the highlights of the tour was visiting Tam Coc, where we were able to take a scenic boat ride through stunning limestone cliffs and peaceful rice paddies. The scenery was simply breathtaking and we were able to see local life up close, with water buffalo grazing by the river and farmers tending to their fields. Another highlight of the tour was visiting the Bich Dong Pagoda, which offered a unique and beautiful insight into traditional Vietnamese religious architecture. The pagoda was surrounded by lush green hills, and the views from the top were simply stunning. Our guide was able to provide us with valuable insights into the pagoda's history and significance, and the visit was a truly enriching experience.
