A must do in Hongkong! - An incredibly good tour, you get to places you would never have found, with restaurants without any tourists, you only see locals. Our guide, a nice lady, spoke perfect English and gave us a lot of background information.

I'm so full. - We had a fantastic tour with Simon. Wonderful commentary and conversation. We would love to explore with him again. Now let's talk about the food. Wonderful, authentic, and lots of different bites. I say bites but really it's a lot of food. We could not finish all the plates. Simon made sure that we all had things to try depending upon our tastes. Great trip

Evidently, she took pride in sharing her heritage, weaving stories that made the food come alive. As we savored each bite, Ivy's anecdotes enhanced our understanding and appreciation of Hong Kong's rich culinary heritage. Beyond her expertise, Ivy's infectious enthusiasm and genuine love for her city made the tour an absolute joy. Fabulous food tour on Hong Kong Island - We have just returned from a holiday to Hong Kong and one of the highlights of the trip was our food tour with Mel. Mel was a wonderful guide: he is engaging, professional and knowledgeable, and he made the tour very entertaining and interesting for our 7 year old and 11 year old daughters. Despite having lived in Hong Kong previously, we saw a side of the local food culture with Mel that we had never experienced before. After touring some local dried seafood and local medicine shops (our brief to Mel was "the more unusual the better"), we stopped at a tea shop where we enjoyed a traditional tea ceremony. We then moved on to a barbecue meat restaurant to try an assortment barbecue meats, noodles, rice and local drinks. Mel then found a couple of stores specialising in desserts requested by our daughters: egg waffles and egg tarts - both were delicious! We walked through a traditional wet market showcasing very fresh produce and ended at a Michelin-rated dim sum restaurant which served wonderful dumplings and another dish that our girls wanted to try, chicken feet. All in all, this food tour was a thoroughly enjoyable way to experience a more authentic Hong Kong. We would highly recommend Mel and the tour to anyone!
