Experience to have - Well organised, clean cable car, quick entry, two types of cabins (even the standard one is more than fine if you want to save money), beautiful views, the arrival at Tian Tan Buddha is truly worth the ride. We recommend the cable car both on the outward and return journey, which is fast and practical. Absolutely beautiful experience

Time to do a cable car ride - in Hong Kong! - The best way to do this attraction is book it yourself - do not do a tour - they are rip offs and you do not get to do what you want - plus the prices are ridiculous. The cost of the Cable Car return is from HK$270 for a standard car up to HK$350 for a crystal car per person. A crystal car is basically a glass floored car that you can see everything underneath you. To be fair the exciting things to see are all above your feet - so I thought this option was a waste of money. Get the train or metro to the Tung Chung station - it is around a 30 min trip from the main Hong Kong station. However, if you are staying somewhere else in HK it is easy to get a train to this station from where you are staying. The trip to the top is great - you pass through many stations and many points where you can see so many things. The HK airport can be seen as you get higher in the cable car. Plus so many other sites. It is a great trip and well worth doing.

Only flying is more beautiful! - You float weightlessly above the treetops of Lantau with a view of nature and the airport. Cabins with 8 seats and well ventilated.

Not For The Faint Hearted.... - Although this is amazing and the best way to see the area it can be quite scary...... We came to a stop mid way down and just swung about for a while - I am not the best for cable cars and the only reason I didn't completely freak out was because we had a chinese family who understood the announcement without panicing - maybe would be an idea to use other languages aswell please...

Nice View along the way when weather is good. - This place is so close to airport, so we made it our first stop of our visit. The cable car has very good view along the way. definitely took at least the crystal cart, the all-glass floor at some flavor to the ride. After the ride we got to the Big Buddat, which is not much to explore. We took the cable car back, and it's less crowded when we come back and we are able to get a cart for ourselves, and took many more fun pictures.

Don’t waste your money. - I would give this 0 stars but the views saved it. Absolutely awful experience, lack of staff and ridiculous lines both there and back. Thought we were saving time by ordering through Klook but watched multiple people purchase tickets and still get on the cable cars quicker. Over priced food and an overall disappointing experience.
