Explore Shanghai like a local. - The meeting point is a long way from downtown Shanghai but don't let that put you off. Its well worth the effort, we took a taxi there and returned on the metro, nearest station a 15 minute walk away. Mai was a great guide who spoke very good English showed us many of the highlights of Shanghai you could only experience on a bike or on foot. Shanghai is quite flat so perfect for cycling, we were a little apprehensive about riding a bike on the very busy roads but once you got "tuned in" to the traffic system it felt quite safe and definitely the best way to get around. Chinese food from a local restaurant was provided. Overall a great day and highly recommended.

I had a wonderful day in Shanghai - May was a very nice, helpful and lovely person. She showed us so many authentical sights of shanghai. Her englisch was very good. We ate delicious homemade dumplings. May also gave me for my next two days in Shanghai very good tips to go or not to go. Her recommondations were very helpful for me. She is an insider! She also showed me where i could get a wonderful and cheap massage. After the tour she even brought me to the massage and picked me up later. I really recommend this tour with May!!

Unforgettable - Fun day-long bike trip across Shanghai. Decent bike, Bike lanes were good on busy streets. Tour wove together highlights of British, French, Japanese concession along with Old Town. So much to see in Shanghai - with so much being spread in different neighborhoods. No better way to get a feel for the city. Do it early and then find places to return later in your visit for great food. May is one of a kind!

Loved our Shanghai Cycle - Thoroughly enjoyed our cycle with Mayfer through the streets of Shanghai stopping along the way to see & learn about the life of local people. Riding through the hustle & the bustle of the city was fun & following a guide made it an easy activity. Enjoyed the yummy lunch. We are a couple nearly 60 years old. If we can do it so can you.

Excellent tour with May - I had a great tour with May! First, May was so knowlegable and fun to be around. Her English is perfect and she knows so much about the city. She gave me a great introduction to the city. I loved getting to see neighborhoods of the city that I never would have made it to on my own. The bike was comfortable and I felt safe biking in the city. Lunch was great!

A wild and fun tour - May is amazing - wildly energetic. Our tour had 10 people, including two children. It was fast and furious, with May often stopping traffic so we could go across streets. Her enthusiasm was contagious. We saw far more of Shanghai than we had expected and found it all extremely interesting. We had managed to arrange a 17 hour stop in Shanghai between Cambodia and Los Angeles - arriving at 4 am and leaving at 9 pm - so the bike tour was perfect for us. We could not have seen so much of Shanghai any other way. May immediately emailed us about 20 photos of our group - much appreciated.

Best way to explore Shanghai - I was in Shanghai just for one day and wanted to explore the most in that time. Also, I love biking. So this was the best option for me. Actually I was pretty late on that day. Every other started their tour as per schedule. But they arranged a private guide for me. May was my guide and she was super friendly, kind and would explain whatever question you ask. Moreover, she is a good photographer. We went not only to the major sightseeing areas but also to the slums, shopping districts, etc. I would recommend this to anyone who wanna see Shanghai the most in a short time. But I think the price for this tour was a bit expensive may be.

Nice tour in the rain - Because of bad weather conditions, I was the only guest on this bycicle tour. So I had May as a personal guide 😎. Good quality bikes and there we go. Shanghai traffic is quite ok for bike tours. And May guided me safely trough the traffic. Because of easy access by bike you can see things that stay hidden by other transport. We visited the Japanese, French and British concession in Shanghai and surely the Japanese is a more hidden treasure. Sometimes May stopped and then we visited some markets or special shops. U Garden and other very typical places made the tour very interesting. For my job I was already many times in Shanghai. But thanks to May this time on the bike it was a real remarkable and typical tour. Only the lunch could have been a little more special. After all it was a very nice experience. Thanks May!! 😃

They didn’t show up at meeting point - OK there was a big trade show in town causing traffic problems. They apologized profusely. They immediately refunded what we paid. They offered a free bike ride later (but it was our last day in Shanghai). Nevertheless we have never been in Shanghai yet managed to make it to the meeting point far from downtown 15 early. They never showed.
