Highlights

Columbia River Gorge - Millions of years ago, during the formation of the Cascade Mountain Range, lava and other pyroclastic matter flowed west from what would be the Cascades all the way to the Pacific Ocean, creating a thick shell of basalt rock that covered Western Oregon. Then, during the Pleistocene Ice Age, roughly 15,000 years ago, water from the Lake Missoula Flood carved out the Columbia River Gorge as hundreds of cubic miles of water, ice, rock and mud rushed from present-day Montana to the Pacific Ocean. Explore the beauty of the canyon walls and rock formations, breathtaking waterfalls and awe-inspiring visas that make the Columbia River National Scenic Area one of the Seven Wonders of Oregon. Our enthusiastic guides will introduce you to the most amazing places in the Gorge, while providing a comprehensive narrative of this spectacular landscape and its transformative history.

Joyful afternoon - Such a treat bringing my niece, who was visiting from Portugal for her first time. Besides the comfort of the seats and the huge windows, our driver was a pro with intriguing history and anecdotes as we winded our way up the historic highway. Kudos to Phoebe. Three falls and the Vista House filled the afternoon with life long memories.

Knowledgeable Tour Guide / Amazing Experience - Our guide John was very knowledgeable and friendly! We covered a lot of scenic destinations in a half day. We would not have been able to cover so much ground on our own. Highly recommend!

So Rejuvenating! - I loved this excursion so much! The falls were beautiful, the air was so fresh, and Gunner was a great guide. I enjoyed stopping by the fruit stand and the last building (which I've forgotten the name of) as well. This half day trip was well worth the cost, although I would have minded having more time just to take in the falls.

Perfect day for touring the Columbia River Gorge Waterfalls - Fortunately we had a perfect Sunday afternoon touring alongside the Columbia River, and taking in the majestic water falls along the way. John, our Driver/Guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. He can spin a good story. Definitely a good investment of time.
