Good times - Hayley was great at giving information on the habits of the whales and what to look for. Our pilot Bri also helped with info and where to look. First time I've ever seen a sleeping whale

Lots of Sealife - I’ve been on many whale watching trips in Alaska and this is the first time we saw bubble feeding, not once but twice! There was a group of about five or six whales, and they stuck around for an hour or more. Saw tons of sea otters and a few sea lions. I love the size of the boat and the way the windows opened up all around to give you a great view. Definitely will use this company next time we go to Icy Strait Point!

Wonderful time! - Had a wonderful time on this excursion! Wish we could have saw more whales together, but with it being early in the season we only saw 2! Which was still amazing! Booked easily through viator, and the meet up instructions were simple and easy! Highly recommend if you are visiting Icy Straight on a cruise!

Impressive and highly recommended. - Super friendly and communicative staff took us straight to orca, humpback and otter viewing. Very helpful on making experience comfortable and lots of fun facts and figures on the animals we viewed and their habits. Great value for money.

Highlight of our trip! - This tour was AMAZING! We didn't even leave the pier before we spotted whales. The captain and deckhand were just as excited as us to see them. We got the best shows from the whales! Such a fun trip. Not overly crowded. We had great views. I would do this again!!

A Whale Of A Time! - I was a little skeptical booking a tour outside of my cruise line but this was wonderful! Even though it’s difficult to see whales in early April, we saw quite a few! We were brought back to the dock in a timely manner with time to still explore the area. Guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely use the company again should I ever go back to Icy Strait!

Captain made a difference in not a good way - I did both this whale tour and the one with Hoonah Travel Adventures one week later (far better) as I did the same cruise both directions. I was not impressed with our captain at all- he did not talk to anyone or give any information on the island, whales, etc. He seemed to keep going away from the areas with the whales which multiple people commented on while out on the deck. He then ate his lunch during the tour (Tuna fish?!) which made the small cabin smell horrific. He was also preoccupied while eating lunch and even though I pointed out whales to him, he did not respond or move toward the area. I liked the smaller boat and the first mate, but the captain needs some serious work on his people skills.
