Fun half day tour - I’m 14 and I went for a half day tour with my brother and my mom! We started off by going to see beautiful outlooks of the island. He told us a lot of the history!! He took us places where tourists normally don’t go. We learned that there were many volcanoes on the island & took us to see an amazing Crater. Ramiro educated us a lot! My brother and I love animals and he was so nice enough to take another road back to our hotel just to see all of these cows. He stopped the car to also take pictures! I had so much fun with Ramiro! Definitely recommend! 😊

Great Day Trip from Pico - We had a great tour of Faial on 2/11/23. The pace was relaxed, and we saw the main sites on the island. Our guide Ramiro was knowledgeable and personable answering many questions on everything to history, geology and local culture. We took the 8:15 am ferry from Madalena and had time after the tour for lunch and a leisurely stroll thru Horta. Great Day!

Amazing half day tour! - Ramiro was the perfect tour guide, independent, flexible, punctual and having grown up on Faial, he has impeccable local knowledge. Ramiro really cares about Faial and the Azores and his passion for his home shines through. We thoroughly enjoyed our half day tour & regret not booking the full day. Cannot recommend Ramiro enough and when (not if!) we return to Faial we will contact him for another tour.

Great tour! Sadly poor weather but Ramiro mad the best of it! - The driver was very and knowledgeable and friendly! Ramiro was and amazing tour guide! Our weather was unfortunate but he mad it great!

Great 1/2 day tour in Faial - Our half day tour trip with Ramiro (Owner) was spectacular. Ramiro showed up on time, was extremely polite, and very knowledgeable of Faial Island. Although we had rented a car, we chose to take this tour with Ramiro, and so happy we did. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, and see everything there is to see on Faial. Romero even sent us a list of places to visit the following day in our rental car. We would definitely use Trilhos R Azores Tours again, and highly recommend that you do too!

Great tour of the highlights of Faial - We had a great tour with Ramiro. We saw all the highlights of Faial. He was very informative and enthusiastic about the places on the island. He gave us enough time to admire the beautiful views. He even stopt down the road sometimes to show us some interesting details. I would definitely recommend the tour.

A morning well spent - The guide, Ramiro, was very nice and knowledgeable about many details from the island. We were also allowed to spend all the time we desired at the stops, and he even made an extra stop to show us an interesting locale

Faial in half day - We visited the island of Faial in half a day, I highly recommend doing this discovery of the island with Ramiro, an attentive and friendly person, who knows his island perfectly. We loved the beauty of the caldera and capelinhos, it was magical! plus we had time to walk around the sites

Beyond Excellent!! - Did a day trip to Faial and this was the perfect way to see the island. Ramiro was beyond excellent. Being a true native he has so much knowledge about the island to share and enhance the experience. He also does guided hikes that I will be doing with him when I make it back to Faial again!!
