Huangshan UNESCO Global Geopark - Meet your guide in the hotel lobby at 8:30 am. Your hotel should be in Tunxi city. Drive to Mt. Huangshan (a World Cultural and Natural Heritage site and World Geo-park) and take the Yungu Cable Car up the mountain. Enjoy the breathtaking views at Beginning-to-believe Peak, Flower-scattering Valley, Lion Peak, Cloud-dispelling Pavilion, North Entrance of the Grand Canyon of the West Sea, and more. Descend the mountain by the Yungu Cable Car and drive back to Tunxi. Today, you will have a buffet lunch at Huangshan Mountain.
One-day private tour of Hongcun Village and City Downtown
Hongcun Ancient Village - Meet your guide in the hotel lobby at 8:30 am. Your hotel should be in Tunxi city. Drive to Yixian County, often called a veritable Garden of Eden on earth, and visit the famous Hongcun Village (a world cultural heritage site and unique buffalo-shaped village, one of the filming locations for the Oscar-winning movie “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”). This village preserves old Huizhou-style houses built in the Ming & Qing Dynasties, characterized by white-washed walls, gray tiles, horse-head gables, and beautiful carvings. Return to Tunxi, the city center. Visit the China Huizhou Culture Museum and the best-preserved commercial street, the Ancient Street of Tunxi, built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. You will have lunch in the city. (Note: The China Huizhou Culture Museum is closed every Monday. If you book this tour and it falls on a Monday, we will adjust the schedule so you visit the museum on the second day and tour Huangshan Mountain on the first day. Thank you for your understanding.)
