• Aswan High Dam - A representative will pick you up from your hotel in Makadi at 4:00 AM to start your day tour. You’ll be transferred by an air-conditioned car to Aswan, where you’ll visit the High Dam, often referred to as the fourth pyramid of Egypt. This dam was constructed between 1960 and 1970 during the era of President Gamal Abdel Nasser.
• Unfinished Obelisk - Next, you’ll see the Unfinished Obelisk, one of the longest obelisks in Egypt, located in Aswan.

The Unfinished Obelisk

Aswan was the source of ancient Egypt’s finest granite, used to create statues and adorn temples, pyramids, and obelisks.

The large unfinished obelisk in the Northern Quarries has provided valuable insight into how these monuments were created, although the full construction process is still not entirely clear. Three sides of the shaft, nearly 42 meters long, were completed except for the inscriptions. Weighing 1168 tonnes, the completed obelisk would have been the single heaviest piece of stone the Egyptians ever fashioned.

Philae Temple

Built to honor the goddess Isis, this was the last temple constructed in the classical Egyptian style. Construction began around 690 BC, and it was one of the last places where the goddess was worshipped. You’ll have lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan. At the end of your tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Makadi.
