Pyramids of Giza - Start with visits to the great pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Enter the realm of “Absolute Grandeur”: the Giza plateau, a symbol of Ancient Egypt with its pyramids: Cheops, the largest of the pyramids and the last of the seven wonders of the Ancient world. Continue to explore the rest of the Giza plateau, including Khafre’s (Kaphren) pyramid—Khufu’s son, the second-largest pyramid on the Giza site, the remains of the funeral temple, and the pyramid of Mankawra (Mykerinus). Then, proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body, dating from the time of Chephren. The mystery of who built it and why remains unsolved. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the pyramid of Chephren. This temple was used for the mummification process of the king. After visiting the pyramids, continue across the plateau for a photo opportunity of the three pyramids rising from the sands, with the Cairo skyline in the background.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a guided visit to the Old Egyptian Museum, one of the richest in the world, located in the heart of Cairo. Inside, you’ll find the largest and most precious collection of archaeological antiquities from ancient Egypt. The museum houses 120,000 artifacts, including treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamen and most of the discovered mummies.

Khan Al-Khalili - Continue to the vibrant Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the major souks (marketplaces) where gold, jewelry, spices, vegetables, rugs, textiles, and lanterns have been sold for centuries. Browse its tightly packed streets that have hardly changed over the centuries and test your bargaining skills. You will then be transferred to Cairo airport for your flight back to Hurghada and transfer to your hotel.
