Hurulu Eco Park - Elephant and Leopard Safari - This intensive safari experience will give you the chance to go on a game drive through the Hurulu Eco Park. The park is known for its verdant nature and rich ecosystem. In addition, your safari guide you will help you catch sight of a number of flora and fauna native to Sri Lanka. Avid birdwatchers will love this safari as well. You will be travelling in a rough terrain (4WD) game vehicle.

The Hurulu Eco Park in Habarana is part of the Hurulu Forest Reserve, and lies alongside several other reserves and national parks (including Kaudulla and Minneriya). Spanning over 10,000 hectares, the park includes dry evergreen forests, waterways, rich grasslands and abandoned cultivation lands. Some cultivation lands within the reserve area are still in use by farmers who use shifting cultivation, and has resulted in the occasional human-elephant conflict.

Well worth a visit ! - This is well worth the visit, nothing more amazing than seeing the elephants in their natural habitat, the safari was a really memorable experience.. And we had the BEST driver !!

My dream came true - Today we visited Hurulu Eco Park. unequivocally great experience! More than 15 wild elephants, water buffaloes, peacocks, monkeys and many birds. Only 3 jeeps set out on the morning route. My dream came true. Thanks a lot

Great Eco park experience - We really enjoyed seeing groups of elephants in the park. We also saw a few birds. I believe there are other wild animals but we didn't see them. We had plenty of room (6 adults) to stand up and look out of the roof.

Very nice way to spend an afternoon in Sigiriya - Positive: - The park is very beautiful. Mostly jungle and bush. - The whole staff was very friendly. - The jeeps are in pretty good shape and a good way to ride around the park and take pictures. - Very fair price in my opinion. - After booking the Safari, i was contacted via WhatsApp. I could normally talk to this person and clarify any details regarding pick up, start-time etc. Negative: - Guide was completely unable to speak english, would have been nice to have someone tell just a couple facts or something about the park and the animals. - Have to buy ticket AND pay for the safari. None is included in the other. - Time promised was 3h, in reality it was more like 2 hours.
