Highlights
  • Barack Obama Plaza visitor centre - We will stop at Barack Obama Plaza for about 15 minutes, enough time to stretch our legs, everyone who has made the trip sleeping can relax a little, and have a coffee or a small breakfast to continue.
  • The Burren - Our path continues towards the Cliffs of Moher. Just the way to get to the Cliffs of Moher is fascinating, because this road, along the coast of the island, crosses The Burren National Park, with a lunar landscape that is fascinating. This is one of the main attractions and one of the essential visits to Ireland.
  • Cliffs of Moher - We will walk, in a completely safe way (this notice is important especially for all those who are sensitive to heights), at 210 meters above the coast. We will appreciate the strength of a sea that so marks the character of the island and its inhabitants. We will enjoy free time to explore the area. A good idea is to go to the visitor center to organize what we most want to see. We will also have time to eat. One of the best tips for eating at the Cliffs of Moher is to bring your own picnic.
  • Galway - From the Cliffs of Moher we will go to Galway. This is one of the most popular cities in Ireland and no wonder! We will meet the bohemian part of the country, with its joy, with the best Irish beer and, above all, with its music. It also has an important heritage, with a rich history, which we will see in the Cathedral of San Nicolás. Did you know that inside you can see… John F. Kennedy? We will visit Shop Street, where we will see the value of street music…and where we will be able to do some shopping! And, among what there is to see in Galway, we cannot forget Oscar Wilde and Eduard Vilde, who since 2004 have been engaged in a most interesting debate.
  • Dublin - After enjoying the highlights of the west of Ireland, we will return to Dublin, to the city center.

Great guide - The cliffs are astonishing! Sergio was a great guide, very knowledgeable and who knows how to balance being present for tourists but also leaving them alone enough so they don't feel overwhelmed. Totally recommended!

Relaxed day trip to the Cliffs of Moher - I was travelling alone. The tour guide, unfortunately I have forgotten her name, gave a lot of information about the buildings and places we passed. Relevant historical facts were also included in the report. Anyone who wanted could accompany her in Galway and at the Cliffs of Moher. All explanations are given in English and Spanish. The journey was relaxed, the bus driver drove smoothly. The places we visited were fantastic and I was able to take lots of beautiful pictures. All in all, a successful trip.
